Josh Hamilton went 0-for-4 in Sunday's 6-0 loss to the A's.
Hamilton punished the ball over a 14-game stretch from June 25-July 10, batting .346/.426/.654 with four homers and 14 RBI over 52 at-bats. That torrid streak had some predicting a huge second half for the free-agent bust. Instead, he's gone 3-for-23 (.130) with no walks or homers over his last six games. Hamilton is hitting just .223/.279/.409 on the year, though he's on pace for 24 home runs.

Josh Hamilton hit a two-run homer off Craig Breslow in the bottom of the 11th to give the Angels a 9-7 win over the Red Sox on Saturday.
The Red Sox had it won, except Brandon Snyder, who isn't a major league third baseman, made an errant toss to second after handling what would have been a game-ending grounder from Howie Kendrick in the ninth. Hamilton was the goat for 8 1/2 innings tonight, going 0-for-4 with an embarrassing play in right field in which he fell after trying to pick up a ball and then dropped it again on his way back. However, he came with a two-run single in the ninth-inning rally and then hit his second homer in three games his next time up. He's now hit in 11 straight games.
