Josh Hamilton launched a game-tying two-run homer in Thursday's win over the Cardinals. Easily Hamilton's biggest moment in an Angels' uniform, he took Cardinals' closer Edward Mujica deep with nobody out in the top of the ninth inning. The Angels eventually went on to win the game. Hamilton has been a major disappointment so far this season, but he's hitting an even .400 (12-for-30) over his last nine games.

Josh Hamilton went 3-for-5 with three runs scored in the Angels' win over the Tigers on Tuesday. Hamilton made his first start since last Thursday due to tendinitis in his right wrist and responded well, connecting for singles in his first three at-bats of the night. Hamilton also took a walk, the first time he's taken a free pass since June 14. It was the first game in which he's scored three runs this season, and despite his struggles he's managed to score 39 on the year.

Josh Hamilton (wrist) is back in Tuesday's lineup against the Tigers. Hamilton hasn't started a game since last Thursday due to tendinitis in his right wrist. He made an appearance as a defensive replacement Sunday, but didn't get an at-bat. The Angels are hopeful that a cortisone shot will get the struggling outfielder back on track.

Josh Hamilton had a brace on his right wrist after Friday's game. Hamilton also had a cortisone shot and is expected to remain sidelined until Tuesday. He has been dealing with a tendinitis-like condition in his wrist over the last 10 days. The Angels haven't given any indication that the injury will require a stint on the disabled list.

Josh Hamilton missed Friday's game due to right wrist soreness. Hamilton is dealing with a tendinitis-like condition in his wrist and is expected to remain sidelined until Tuesday. "We want give that some time to heal," manager Mike Scioscia said. "He's going to get an evaluation from doctors today and see if there's any kind of medicine or something that can help it. It's been bothering him for about 10 days or so, just on and off. It's just something that we want to get a handle on."

Josh Hamilton is not in the Angels' lineup Friday. Hamilton is batting just .171/.200/.343 in 70 at-bats this month, so the Angels will hope that the day off will help him get back on track. Brad Hawpe is starting in right field in his place.

Josh Hamilton is batting seventh Wednesday for the first time since signing with the Angels. Hamilton has hit primarily second, fourth or fifth in the Anaheim batting order but will get a big bump to seventh on Wednesday night. The $125 million man is sporting a rough .213/.269/.388 slash line this season.

Josh Hamilton has his worst game yet for the Angels on Tuesday, grounding into three double plays and striking out twice. Hamilton had at least one runner on every time up tonight, and he snuffed rallies at every single opportunity in the 3-2 loss. Manager Mike Scioscia may want to move him out of the two hole after this one. He may actually want to bat him ninth after this one.

Josh Hamilton went 2-for-5 with a homer, two runs scored and two RBI against the Mariners on Monday. Coming off a Sunday off-day against Yankees left-hander CC Sabathia, Hamilton teed off in an easier matchup, taking Aaron Harang deep for a two-run shot in the second. Hamilton owners, much like the Angels, are stuck in a holding pattern with the former top slugger. Nobody is going to take his .217/.273/.395 slash line off your hands and offer you value back, but it's unlikely that you have a more talented backup to insert into the lineup until Hamilton regains his stroke.

Josh Hamilton went 2-for-5 with a homer and two RBI against the Orioles on Monday. The homer was his first since May 26, but it gave him extra-base hits in five of the last six games. As expected, the Angels left Hamilton in the two hole even with Peter Bourjos back tonight. It probably won't prove permanent, but manager Mike Scioscia figures to stick with the alignment for at least another week or two.
