Astros selected RHP Josh Fields from the Red Sox with the first pick in Thursday's Rule 5 Draft. Fields posted a 2.01 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and 78/18 K/BB ratio in 58 1/3 innings this past season between Double-A Portland and Triple-A Pawtucket. The 27-year-old right-hander could land a middle relief job in Houston.
