EDGE Analysis
Bell kicked off the scoring in this one in the first inning with a double to right center, plating two runs. He tied the contest in the seventh by smashing a three-run homer. The 26-year-old has been red hot at the dish of late and has extended his hitting streak to 12 games following Sunday's series finale. Bell also managed to raise his batting average from .299 to .319 following a four-hit performance.

Bell went 2-for-4 against St. Louis on Friday, lifting his season batting average to .300.
EDGE Analysis
He also made a key defensive play to help keep the Cards from scoring. Bell ranks eighth in baseball with an average exit velocity of 94.4 mph. He's hit nine homers, something that took him until Sept. 7 to accomplish last year. In fact, the first baseman didn't collect his ninth homer until the last day of May during his 26-homer rookie campaign in 2017. Provided he can stay healthy, the switch hitter is on course to set career highs across the board.

Bell went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in a 9-6 loss to the Rangers on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
The Pirates first baseman continued his strong start and did it in impressive fashion Wednesday afternoon, absolutely crushing a bomb into the Allegheny River. More importantly for owners, Bell already has nine homers, which is only three shy of his total from last season. He is hitting .295 with 23 extra-base hits, 27 RBI and 22 runs in 122 at-bats.

Bell went 2-for-4 with a pair of home runs in a 6-4 victory against the Athletics on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Continuing his strong start, Bell single-handedly erased an early 3-0 deficit with two home runs in his first two at-bats. After a very disappointing 2018, Bell is swinging the bat extremely well to begin 2019. He's batting .291 with eight home runs, 25 RBI and 19 runs in 110 at-bats. Bell is seeing the ball well, as he's walked 14 times, and behind 19 extra-base hits, he supports a .627 slugging percentage.

Bell went 2-for-5 with a walk and a two-run double against the Rangers on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
He ranks 10th in the major leagues with an average exit velocity of 94.2 mph -- he finished 97th with an average exit velocity of 90 mph in 2018. Bell leads Pittsburgh in runs (16) doubles (eight), homers (six) and RBI (21). The switch hitter's hitting both left-handed pitching (.870 OPS) and righties (.990 OPS) and is on track to help make fantasy owners forget about his disappointing 2018 campaign.

Bell went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and walk in an 11-2 loss to the Diamondbacks on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
The Pirates first baseman has continued his impressive start. Last year, he hit just .261 with 12 homers, which are very weak numbers for a first baseman. This season, he looks more like the top prospect he was a couple years ago. Bell is hitting .299 with five home runs, 17 RBI and 15 runs in 77 at-bats this year. He's slugging .623 and has a strong walks-to-strikeouts ratio -- 11 versus 17 -- as well.

Bell went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts against Arizona on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
He stranded five baserunners in a 2-1 loss -- he entered the tilt hitting .643 with runners in scoring position. Prior to Tuesday, the first baseman hit .347 with four homers and 12 RBI in his last 14 games. Bell is off to a terrific start in 2019, but it will be interesting to see how he responds to his first rough performance.

Mon 4/22/19 12:49 AM

Bell went 1-for-3, hitting a two-run home run in a 3-2 loss to the Giants on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
The 26-year-old accounted for the only runs the Pirates scored in the loss. After a really disappointing 2018 season, Bell is off to a wonderful start, hitting for both average and power. While his four homers through 19 games doesn't stand out, he's already a third of the way to his 12-bomb total from last season. With five doubles and a triple as well, Bell supports a .591 slugging percentage. He is also hitting .303 with 15 RBI and 13 runs in 66 at-bats.

Sun 4/14/19 9:47 PM

Bell went 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles, one walk and two RBI against Washington on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
He's lifted his batting average to .314 and looks more like the promising rookie from 2017 than the disappointing hitter from last season. Bell has nine extra-base hits in 14 games, including three homers -- he didn't collect his ninth extra-base hit until his 35th game in 2018. Pittsburgh's offense has struggled to score runs, but not because of Bell. As a result, it wouldn't be surprising to see opponents begin to pitch around the 26-year-old in the coming games.

Bell went 1-for-4 with a solo homer in a 6-3 victory over the Nationals on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
The 26-year-old is off to a nice start, slashing .295/.373/.568 with three homers, 10 RBI and six runs in 44 at-bats. That's certainly encouraging after last season's disappointment. Bell hit .261 with only 12 homers and 62 RBI in 2018.
