Jonathan Lucroy is not in the Brewers' lineup Sunday. It's simply a day of rest. Martin Maldonado is taking Lucroy's spot behind the dish Sunday.

Jonathan Lucroy singled and smashed a solo homer in Thursday's loss to the Astros. Lucroy's bat is really heating up, as he's sporting a .387 batting mark with four longballs and 18 RBI over his last 17 contests. He now has seven homers to go along with 38 ribbies for the season.

Jonathan Lucroy is not in the Brewers' lineup Friday. It's just a day of rest. Martin Maldonado is getting the start behind the plate in Lucroy's place.

Jonathan Lucroy had a bases-loaded triple and drove in four runs total as the Brewers beat the Marlins on Wednesday. The triple was, somewhat surprisingly, Lucroy's fourth of the year and ninth of his career. He later added a sacrifice fly as well. The catcher is hitting a modest .265/.312/.429 this season but has driven in 37 runs, most among catchers through Wednesday's games.

Jonathan Lucroy went 4-for-5 with a double and two RBI in the victory over the Marlins on Monday. Lucroy has raised his average 40 points to .268 in the last couple of weeks. It's still a far cry from last year's .320 mark, but he always figured to come in a lot closer to .270 than .320 this year.

Jonathan Lucroy is not in Tuesday's lineup against the Athletics. He's presumably getting the day off. Martin Maldonado will make the start behind the plate.

Jonathan Lucroy had another strong game Saturday, going 2-for-4 with his sixth homer. Lucroy has three homers in 24 hours, matching his total from his previous 44 games this season. His OPS has climbed over 100 points the last two days.

Jonathan Lucroy had a huge day at the dish Friday, going 5-for-5 with two home runs, four RBI and three runs scored as part of an 8-5 win over the Phillies. Lucroy began his night with an RBI double in the second inning and a run-scoring single in the third. He saved his power exploits for later, as he launched solo homers in the fifth and ninth innings. It's been a tough start to the season for Lucroy, but most of it was driven by some pretty awful luck. The 26-year-old backstop has now hit safely in six straight games and should be owned in most mixed leagues.

Jonathan Lucroy went 0-for-4 on Monday and is just 2-for-23 over the last 10 days. Lucroy is hitting just .208, but manager Ron Roenicke obviously remains a believer; he had Lucroy batting fifth ahead of a .330-hitting Carlos Gomez tonight. Lucroy should prove to be considerably better than he's been thus far, but was in over his head while batting .320 in 96 games last year.

Jonathan Lucroy is not in Tuesday's lineup against the Pirates. He's just getting the day off. Martin Maldonado will start behind the dish and catch Kyle Lohse.
