Edwards' contract was selected from Triple-A Round Rock on Friday. Edwards had a good stint at Triple-A, posting a 2.87 ERA and 1.53 WHIP over 12 games at the level. He will now join the Rangers' bullpen, taking the place of Robbie Ross on the active roster.
