John Danks was rocked for six runs -- five earned -- in five innings Saturday by the Red Sox. Boston got to him for 11 hits and scored runs in the first, third, fourth, fifth and sixth innings. Danks will carry a 4.35 ERA into his next start at Camden Yards.

John Danks earned his fourth win of the season on Sunday, allowing two runs on eight hits over six innings to beat the Rangers. Danks struck out five and walked one. He's strung together a pair of strong outings after hurling eight scoreless innings Tuesday against the Royals. Danks hasn't been nearly as bad as his 4-10 record suggests, but he'll face a stiff test in protecting his 4.15 ERA and 1.19 WHIP next time out in Boston.

John Danks tossed eight scoreless innings Tuesday as the White Sox defeated the Royals 2-0. Danks scattered seven hits -- six of them singles -- and issued just one walk. Addison Reed closed the game with a scoreless ninth inning to preserve the shoutout and earn his 32nd save. Danks has been inconsistent recently but owns a respectable 4.22 ERA and 1.17 WHIP in 111 total frames. He'll get the Rangers next.

John Danks struck out nine while allowing three runs in six-plus innings Friday against the Twins. Danks allowed just one run through six. He then walked back-to-back batters to start the seventh before being pulled. Both runners came around to score when the White Sox's fourth pitcher of the inning, Nate Jones, gave up a grand slam to Justin Morneau.

John Danks allowed six runs on 11 hits in seven innings in a loss to the Tigers on Wednesday. Danks was serving them up, as three of the 11 hits he allowed left the yard. The southpaw fell to 2-8 with the loss, and he's now sporting a 4.81 ERA. He'll try to get back on track in Cleveland on Monday.

John Danks was tagged for five runs on seven hits over seven innings Friday in a loss to the Braves. He struck out four, walked zero and coughed up two homers. Danks posted a 33/6 K/BB rate in 46 2/3 innings over his last seven starts, prompting Chicago manager Robin Ventura to name him starter for the club's first game of the second half. The former ace wasn't up to the task against a strong Braves offense and fell to 2-7 with a 4.52 ERA.

John Danks took the loss on Sunday, allowing three runs on five hits and two walks over seven innings against the Rays. He struck out five. While not a bad performance, Danks was unfortunately hurling opposite a game David Price. Danks has turned in three consecutive quality starts. He'll take a 2-6 record and 4.31 ERA into his next outing against the Phillies.

John Danks earned his second win of the season on Tuesday, allowing two runs over seven innings to beat the Orioles. Danks pitched well on Tuesday, allowing six hits and a walk while striking out four. The win broke a three-game losing streak and moved his record to 2-5 with a 4.38 ERA. The left-hander will look to make it two in a row against the Rays in Tampa on Sunday.

John Danks took the loss on Wednesday, allowing three runs -- one earned -- over 7 1/3 innings against the Mets. Danks deserved better, as he allowed seven hits and no walks while striking out seven. A fielding error by Alexei Ramirez allowed the first two runs to score, and an Eric Young Jr. infield single scored the third. Danks will carry a 1-5 record and 4.68 ERA into his Tuesday start against the Orioles.

John Danks was tagged for six runs over five innings Thursday in a loss to the Twins. Ugly. Danks allowed 12 hits on the day, including four home runs. The southpaw has already served up 10 home runs in just 35 innings this season after giving up just 19 in 170 1/3 innings during his last full season in 2011. The loss dropped him to 1-4 with a 5.40 ERA over his first six starts. He has a good chance to get back on track next week against the Mets, but it's tough to trust him in mixed leagues right now.
