Rickard is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Nationals.
EDGE Analysis
Rickard is hitting just .094/.194/.281 across 12 games in June, so he'll stick on the bench for a second straight game as manager Buck Showalter looks to give him some time to reset amidst his struggles at the plate. Jace Peterson will start in right field and hit leadoff in his stead.

Rickard is out of the lineup Sunday against the Rays, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Since Anthony Santander was demoted to Double-A Bowie earlier this month, Rickard has served as the Orioles' primary option in right field. Rickard made waves after rejoining the big club May 13 and homering twice in a win over Tampa Bay, but his production has since flatlined, with the 28-year-old going 5-for-24 over his subsequent seven starts. Jace Peterson will get the nod in right field Sunday and could eat further into Rickard's playing time if the latter is unable to find much success at the plate in his subsequent opportunities.

Rickard went 3-for-5 with two home runs, five RBI and three runs to help spearhead Baltimore's 17-1 rout of Tampa Bay on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
It was quite the return to the big-league level for Rickard, who was recalled from Triple-A before the game to take the roster spot of Anthony Santander. He only has 10 at-bats this season and a .660 OPS over 523 at-bats for his career before this contest, however, so it's best to wait and see if Rickard can keep up the hot hitting before jumping to any conclusions about his potential fantasy value.

Rickard was recalled from Triple-A Norfolk and will bat seventh and start in right field Sunday against the Rays, Jon Meoli of The Baltimore Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Rickard will assume the active roster spot of Anthony Santander, who was optioned to Double-A Bowie after the 2016 Rule 5 pick officially accrued 90 days of MLB service time Saturday. With Santander out of the mix for an everyday role in the corner outfield, Rickard will likely battle the likes of Craig Gentry, Jace Peterson and Danny Valencia for consistent at-bats. Rickard offers an element of speed and defensive utility, but a .254/.301/.359 career batting line in the majors makes him best suited for a reserve gig over the long haul.

Rickard was optioned to Triple-A Norfolk on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Rickard went 1-for-3 with a walk and a run scored in Sunday's game against the Tigers. Despite his solid performance, he'll return to Norfolk just a day after being promoted to the majors. Rickard returning to Triple-A was likely done to make room on the 25-man roster for Mark Trumbo (quadriceps), who's expected to return from the DL in the near future.
