Kelly surrendered seven earned runs on eight hits in Monday's loss to Minnesota. Kelly was awful on Monday, recording just five outs before getting chased out of the game. He's now 1-4 on the season with a 6.24 ERA and a 1.45 WHIP. Kelly has struggled all season, but he'll look to get back on track against Texas in his next start.

Kelly (1-3) tossed seven strong innings Wednesday against Texas, striking out seven and allowing just two runs on seven hits and a walk, but ended up with the loss. It's a tough loss for Kelly, but still a promising effort after he posted a brutal 5:10 K:BB over his prior two starts. Still, Kelly's solid ERAs in his first two seasons belied poor pitching overall, and there's no reason to think he's got all that much upside from here. He'll draw the Twins on Monday.

Kelly allowed five hits and one run in 6.1 innings, walking only three. He also had two strikeouts in a no-decision Thursday against the Mariners. Kelly didn't factor in the decision, but had a strong rebound performance after walking seven in his last start against Toronto. The only run Kelly allowed was Nelson Cruz scoring on Logan Morrison's slow grounder. Kelly's next scheduled start will be against Texas on Wednesday.

Kelly's control abandoned him on Saturday, as he allowed six runs on four hits and seven walks in 5.2 innings, striking out three. After a couple of promising starts to begin the season, Kelly has now given up five or more earned runs in four straight starts, sending his ERA soaring to 6.35. His next start is scheduled for Thursday in pitcher-friendly Safeco, but even if the Red Sox don't pull Kelly from the rotation, he'll be a very risky play.

Kelly suffered his first loss of the season on Sunday against the Yankees, giving up five runs on nine hits through just 4.2 innings. The 26-year-old gave up all five runs in the first three innings before settling down, but failed to make it through 5.0 innings due to an elevated pitch count. After a promising start to the year, Kelly has given up five runs in each of his last three starts and will face a tough Toronto lineup in his next scheduled appearance on Saturday.

Kelly struggled in a no-decision Monday, allowing five runs in six innings against the Blue Jays. The silver lining on Kelly's start are his 10 strikeouts, giving him 28 for the year in 23.2 innings. After a strong first start of the season, Kelly hasn't had a quality start since. His next outing will come against the Yankees this weekend.

Kelly racked up seven strikeouts over five innings Wednesday in Tampa, but gave up five runs on eight hits and a walk. He received no decision in the eventual loss. Kelly's bat-missing skills have been a bit of a revelation so far -- he has 18 strikeouts in 17.2 innings -- but he hasn't been pitching terribly efficiently anyway. However, his velocity coupled with the fact that the Red Sox should be pretty good makes Kelly an intriguing fantasy own in deeper formats.

Kelly allowed two runs on four hits and two walks while striking out three in 5.2 innings in Boston's win over Baltimore on Friday. He tossed 118 pitches, two shy of his career high. Kelly, who was hampered by a biceps injury late in training camp and had to talk manager John Farrell into letting him make his first start last week against the Yankees, has been good through two starts. He's averaged 105 pitches while leading the staff in WHIP and ERA. The Orioles battled him and weren't chasing Friday, making it a very laborious start for Kelly.

Kelly allowed one run on one hit and two walks while striking out eight in seven innings in Saturday's win over the Yankees. After a shaky second inning when he lost the zone for about 10 pitches, Kelly retired the final 17 batters he faced. It was a large effort for Kelly, who not only was pitching for the first time since his spring biceps injury, but it came less than 12 hours after all of the team's relievers were needed in a 19-inning game Friday.

Kelly (biceps) will start Saturday's game against the Yankees, CSN New England's Sean McAdam reports. Kelly will get the start on the first day he's eligible to return from the disabled list, knocking Steven Wright out of the rotation. The previous plan was for Kelly to start at Low-A Greenville, and the Red Sox had been hoping he'd get his pitch count up to 95. It would thus be unwise to expect more than 95 pitches from Kelly in his 2015 debut.
