Jimmy Rollins left Sunday's game in the third inning with a strained right groin.
Rollins hurt himself when he made a play up the middle to rob Jesus Flores of a hit. The Phillies are calling him day-to-day right now, but we should know more about his status later Sunday or Monday. He was replaced at shortstop by Wilson Valdez.

Jimmy Rollins homered from both sides of the plate, doubled and scored four times Wednesday against the Cubs.
Quite a day and quite a month so far for Rollins, who is hitting .388 with four homers and 14 runs scored in 15 games. He has eight homers since the beginning on June after hitting just three during the first two months.

Jimmy Rollins went 3-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored in Philadelphia's win over the Mets on Sunday.
The multi-hit effort was Rollins' seventh in 12 July starts, upping his season average from .254 on June 30 to .271. He's certainly not the player he once was, but remains an above average fantasy option at shortstop.

Jimmy Rollins dealt with tightness in his right leg during Saturday's game, though Phillies manager Charlie Manuel said that's not why he was removed late in the game.
"I just wanted [Michael] Martinez to play short," Manuel said. When asked after the game if he was OK, Rollins replied, "unfortunately, no," but added that he was "zero percent" concerned about his condition. Rollins dealt with a nagging right calf injury last season, so hopefully that's not what's bugging him. It's not clear if he'll play Sunday.

Jimmy Rollins notched his 33rd and 34th RBI in the Phillies loss to the Blue Jays on Sunday.
He singled home Domonic Brown and Carlos Ruiz in the second. Rollins finished his day just 1-for-5, however, dropping his average all the way down to .253, the second lowest it's been all season.

Jimmy Rollins has been dealing with some soreness in his throwing shoulder lately.
Although Phillies manager Charlie Manuel said Rollins' shoulder was not the reason for the shortstop being in the DH slot Thursday, he was back as the DH again for Friday's game. Rollins did not take ground balls before Thursday's game, but it's not clear if he did so Friday. It doesn't seem like something that will keep him out of the lineup, but it's worth keeping an eye on.

Jimmy Rollins went 4-for-4 with two runs scored in Philadelphia's 3-1 win over the A's on Sunday.
Rollins' first four-hit day of the season snapped an 0-for-13 streak coming into today, and bumped his .250 average to .260. Rollins isn't having a monster season by any means, but remains quite valuable thanks to the sorry state of affairs league-wide at shortstop.
