Eickhoff (biceps) will begin a rehab assignment with High-A Clearwater on Tuesday, Meghan Montemurro of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Eickhoff has been out since June 17 due to right biceps tendinitis, but after being shut down from throwing for three weeks, he's been given the thumbs up to head out on a rehab stint. Considering he's been out of commission for well over a month, he'll likely require at least a few outings to get his arm back in shape.

Eickhoff (biceps) is expected to begin a rehab assignment next week, Matt Breen of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Eickhoff has been sidelined since June 16 with biceps tendinitis, but he's finally nearing a return to game action. Given the length of his absence, the right-hander will need to make multiple minor-league appearances before being cleared to rejoin the Phillies, meaning he likely won't be ready to return to the big-league rotation until at least mid-August.

Eickhoff (biceps) will be shut down for at least three weeks, Matt Breen of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
He was placed on the injured list with biceps tendinitis Monday. If he won't throw for three weeks, that means he won't be returning to the big-league rotation until at least late July.

Eickhoff was placed on the 10-day injured list with right biceps tendinitis Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Eickhoff allowed 12 runs and seven homers in just four innings over his last two appearances, which can possibly be explained by the biceps injury. It's not clear how much time he's expected to miss. Edgar Garcia was called up to take his place in the bullpen in a corresponding move.

Eickhoff surrendered five runs on six hits and a walk over his lone inning of relief in Sunday's 15-1 loss to the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
Eickhoff had lined up for two starts entering the week, but he ultimately missed out on the two step since he was removed from the Philadelphia rotation after surrendering seven runs in three innings to the Diamondbacks on June 10. Unfortunately for those that included him in weekly lineups, Eickhoff still did plenty of damage to fantasy managers' ratios while mopping up in the blowout loss to Atlanta. The Phillies have yet to decide on a permanent fifth starter, but Eickhoff probably doesn't rank high among the team's potential options after serving up a whopping 18 home runs in his last seven appearances.

Eickhoff is no longer a member of Philadelphia's starting rotation, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Eickhoff was shelled by the Diamondbacks on Monday, allowing seven runs over three-plus innings, so the Phillies have elected to move him to the bullpen. It remains to be seen who will take Eickhoff's spot in the rotation.

Eickhoff (3-4) took the loss Monday, surrendering seven runs on five hits -- all five of them home runs -- and two walks over three-plus innings while striking out two as the Phillies were downed 13-8 by the Diamondbacks.
EDGE Analysis
Arizona's first three batters of the night all took Eickhoff yard. then Eduardo Escobar and Alex Avila chased him from the game in the fourth inning with two-run shots. The D-backs ended up setting a club record with eight total homers, while the two teams combined for an MLB-record 13 long balls. Eickhoff will take a 5.02 ERA, 50:17 K:BB and ghastly 2.5 HR/9 through 57.1 innings into his next start Sunday in Atlanta.

Eickhoff (3-3) allowed three runs in six innings and picked up the win against San Diego on Tuesday, giving up four hits and striking out five. He did not walk a batter.
EDGE Analysis
Handed the task of snapping Philadelphia's five-game losing streak, Eickhoff was up to the challenge, earning both his first quality start and first win in nearly a month. He did so by limiting the Padres to five baserunners and allowing only one ball to leave the yard after having surrendered multiple home runs in each of his previous four starts. After an effective April in which he posted a 2.12 ERA in 17 innings of work, Eickhoff struggled with a 5.17 ERA in 31 innings in May. He'll look to build upon a positive start to June when he faces Arizona on Monday in his next scheduled start.

Eickhoff (2-3) allowed four earned runs on eight hits and no walks while striking out four across 6.1 innings to take the loss Thursday against the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
Eickhoff's outing was ruined by the long ball, as he surrendered three homers that accounted for all four of his earned runs. He's struggled to keep the ball in the yard of late, as he's now allowed all 10 of his home runs for the season in his past four starts. As a result, he's surrendered 17 earned runs across 18.1 innings in that span, with his ERA on the campaign rising from 1.50 to 4.10. He'll look to snap out of the slump in his next start, currently scheduled for Tuesday at San Diego.

Eickhoff didn't factor into the decision in Friday's 6-4 win over the Brewers, giving up four runs on five hits and a walk over three innings while striking out one.
EDGE Analysis
Christian Yelich and Orlando Arcia both took Eickhoff deep, but the Phillies rallied in the middle innings to take the right-hander off the hook for his third loss. He's now given up multiple homers in three straight starts, not lasting longer than five innings in any of them, and the rough stretch has inflated Eickhoff's ERA to 3.86. He'll try to turn things around in his next outing Thursday, at home against the Cardinals.
