Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports.com reports that the Cardinals are making both Kyle Lohse and Jake Westbrook available for trade. This confirms previous reports on Lohse, but evidently Westbrook is up for grabs, as well. Of course, Lohse is set to make $11.75 million in 2012 and has a no-trade clause, while Westbrook will earn $8.5 million following a year where he posted a 4.66 ERA and 1.53 WHIP. It's been speculated that the Cards could deal either hurler to make room for Mark Buehrle, or perhaps it would just be to free up more money to re-sign Albert Pujols.

Manager Tony La Russa announced Jake Westbrook will be the first arm out of the bullpen tonight. Westbrook has two appearances this postseason and earned the win in Game 6 by pitching a scoreless 11th inning.
