If he does indeed break camp with Los Angeles, he'll likely serve as a power bat off the bench while drawing an occasional start at first base or DH.

He hasn't posted a batting average above .200 since 2018. The 31-year-old did show a bit of pop last season, posting a career-best 11.6 percent barrel rate, but that also came with a career-worst 30.0 percent strikeout rate. It would be a surprise if he's able to carve out a significant role on a talented Dodgers roster.

The Blue Jays granted Lamb his release Wednesday after he cleared outright waivers.
