FOX Sports' Jon Paul Morosi reports that the Tigers are interested in Dodgers starter Hiroki Kuroda. Kuroda has a no-trade clause, however, and it's not clear whether he would waive it to go to Detroit. The 36-year-old right-hander has a sparkling 2.91 ERA and 1.21 WHIP in 108 2/3 innings this season with L.A. and should continue to draw heavy trade interest throughout July.

Hiroki Kuroda limited the Angels to three hits over seven scoreless innings in a victory Friday. His first win since May 17. Of course, Kuroda deserves much better than a 6-9 record with his 2.90 ERA this season. The Dodgers had scored one or no runs in five of his previous six starts.

A source tells Jon Paul Morosi of FOXSports.com that the Dodgers aren't in any serious talks about trading Hiroki Kuroda right now. Morosi reported earlier this week that "a lot of clubs" were showing early interest in Kuroda, but he didn't imply that the Dodgers were actively shopping him. According to Morosi, the Reds and Rockies have scouted him recently.

According to Jon Morosi of FOXSports.com, "a lot of clubs" are already showing interest in Hiroki Kuroda. And why not? Despite his 5-9 record, Kuroda has a very solid 3.10 ERA and 77/28 K/BB ratio over 101 2/3 innings. He'd be a fine addition to any pitching staff. According to Morosi, the Rockies and Reds had scouts at his most recent start. Of course, Kuroda would have to waive his no-trade clause to facilitate any deal.

Hiroki Kuroda allowed two runs over five innings in Saturday's loss to the Angels. Kuroda threw a season-low 74 pitches before getting pulled, but his early exit wasn't due to injury. Don Mattingly decided to pinch-hit for him with one out and the bases loaded in the bottom of the fifth. Unfortunately for the Dodgers, Casey Blake grounded into a double play. Kuroda still has a solid 3.10 ERA and 77/28 K/BB ratio through 16 starts, but he remains winless since May 17.

Hiroki Kuroda tossed seven innings of shutout ball but took a no-decision during Sunday's win over the Astros. Kuroda struck out six, walked two and scattered three hits. It's his fourth straight start allowing two earned runs or less and his ERA now stands at an impressive 3.07. While Kuroda won't get a lot of wins, owners in need of an ERA boost can look no further. He'll get a home matchup with the Angels next time out.
