Hiroki Kuroda will start Sunday against the Giants.
Dana Eveland will pitch Saturday, essentially pushing everyone in the Dodgers rotation back a day. Kuroda is fresh off one his worst performances as a major leaguer (four home runs allowed in six innings against the Nationals) and will look to rebound against the Giants.

Hiroki Kuroda had another solid effort Friday, limiting the Rockies to two runs on four hits and three walks over six innings in the 8-2 win.
He struck out five. Kuroda boasts a 1.67 ERA over his last five starts and now has a 2.88 ERA and 1.21 WHIP for the season. You think a contender would like to have that in their rotation? Of course, but the Japanese import is evidently as happy as a clam on the West Coast and will try to continue to ride the wave next week in St. Louis.

Hiroki Kuroda tossed seven shutout innings in a win over the Astros Sunday.
Kuroda struck out six, walked just one and scattered five hits. Of course, this came against the most pathetic lineup in baseball. But that shouldn't overshadow the fact that Kuroda is sporting a 2.88 ERA on the season despite his 14 losses. There's value here in plus matchups.

Hiroki Kuroda allowed four runs (three earned) in 6 1/3 innings on Monday, falling to 7-14 in Los Angeles' 5-3 loss to the Phillies.
He allowed nine hits while walking one and striking out four. The quality start was his fifth in a row. Now the owner of a 3.01 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 115/39 K/BB ratio through 146 1/3 innings, Kuroda will get the Astros at home this Sunday.

According to ESPN Boston's Gordon Edes, right-hander Hiroki Kuroda has informed the Dodgers that he is open to being dealt to the Rangers, Red Sox or Yankees.
It just so happens that those are the top three teams in pursuit of him. Kuroda, 36, has posted a cool 3.11 ERA and 1.23 WHIP across 133 innings this season for the Dodgers. He's earning $12 million this year and will become a free agent in the offseason. His contract includes a full no-trade clause.

SI.com's Jon Heyman reports that the Rangers, Red Sox and Yankees are the three teams left pursuing Hiroki Kuroda.
The Indians had some interest but appear to have moved on. Heyman notes that Kuroda has still not decided whether or not he will waive his no-trade clause, but it would be a surprise if he didn't. The Red Sox haven't talked to the Rockies about Ubaldo Jimenez in a while, so Kuroda might be their top target.

Joel Sherman of the New York Post reports that the Dodgers asked for Ivan Nova plus a catcher prospect from the Yankees in exchange for Hiroki Kuroda.
Sherman wasn't sure which catcher prospect it was, but he called the offer a "non-starter for a rental." We're confused as to why the Yankees are overvaluing Nova, as he's viewed by most as nothing more than a solid, back-end of the rotation starter. ESPN's Jim Bowden, for what it's worth, still thinks the Yankees are the favorites to land Kuroda, with a Red Sox running a close second.

FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal reports that the Red Sox' interest in Hiroki Kuroda grew following Erik Bedard's poor start Friday.
ESPN's Jim Bowden reported previously that Boston was "working hard" to acquire Kuroda, as it appears he might be their top target. They're also in the running for Ubaldo Jimenez.

ESPN's Jim Bowden reports that the Red Sox are "working hard" on a deal for Hiroki Kuroda that would send a minor league prospect to the Dodgers.
It's been unclear whether Kuroda would be willing to accept a trade to the East Coast, but the general consensus is that he'd OK the deal since it would just be for a couple months. The Red Sox are looking for pitching help with Clay Buchholz's uncertainty and others' poor performances, and Kuroda, who holds a 3.11 ERA through 21 starts this season, would be a nice fit.

ESPN's Jim Bowden reports that the Tigers are out of the running for Hiroki Kuroda.
It's been rumored that Kuroda was reluctant to accept a deal to a team on the East Coast, especially if that team is the Tigers or Indians. The Tigers have been linked to a boatload of other pitchers and will move on to the next option. Kuroda is still being pursued by the Red Sox, Yankees, Rangers and Indians.
