Bader is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Diamondbacks.
EDGE Analysis
Bader will head to the bench for Wednesday's series finale as the Cardinals rest most of their regular starters following Tuesday's 19-inning loss. Randy Arozarena is starting in center field in place of Bader, who went 2-for-8 with two strikeouts in Tuesday's loss.

Bader went 2-for-3 with a run-scoring single, an RBI double and a walk in an extra-inning win over the Cubs on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Bader came through with clutch hits on a pair of occasions, pushing his September RBI total to a solid 11 across 18 games. The outfielder continues to have trouble making consistent contact, however, with his 25 strikeouts -- including at least one in each of his last 10 games -- helping lead to a pedestrian .233 average over 68 plate appearances during the month.

Bader is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Nationals.
EDGE Analysis
Since his big two-homer game against the Brewers on Sunday, Bader has recorded just one hit while striking out five times in the first two games of the series with Washington, though he at least chipped in a stolen base in Tuesday's 6-2 loss. Bader looks poised to see regular run as St. Louis' top center fielder down the stretch, but he'll get a breather for the day game after night game.

Bader went 2-for-4 with two solo home runs in a loss to the Brewers on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Bader opened the scoring on the afternoon with his first round tripper and then extended the Cardinals' lead to 4-2 with his seventh-inning blast. The outfielder has gone deep thrice in the last four contests after a 16-game homer drought, and he's crossed the plate on six occasions overall during that stretch as well. Bader's September average still sits at an uninspired .234, but he's certainly showing signs of a resurgence with his recent power display.

Bader went 1-for-4 with a solo home run, a walk and two runs overall in a win over the Rockies on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Bader's impressive 450-foot blast to left in the fourth inning answered a Nolan Arenado round tripper in the home half of the third and extended the Cardinals' lead to 6-3. The 25-year-old hadn't left the yard since Aug. 24 prior to Thursday, a homer that coincidentally had also come against the Rockies, albeit at Busch Stadium. Despite having just eight hits thus far in September -- including a modest two for extra bases -- Bader has managed to knock in seven runs with some timely knocks.

Bader went 2-for-4 with a run-scoring single, an RBI double, a walk and a stolen base in a win over the Pirates on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Bader was highly productive out of the latter portion of the No. 8 spot in the order, with his well-balanced effort snapping a 1-for-16 slump that had encompassed his previous five games. The 25-year-old looked rejuvenated at the plate after his return from Triple-A Memphis in late August, and perhaps Saturday's resurgent effort will snap him out of the brief doldrums he'd been in.

Bader is not in Thursday's lineup against the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Bader should start against all lefties and some righties down the stretch, but he'll head to the bench in this one against righty Logan Webb. Randy Arozarena will start in center field and hit eighth.

Bader went 2-for-4 with a pair of run-scoring singles during the first game of a doubleheader against the Reds on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Bader's pair of RBI hits were especially timely, with the first bringing the Cardinals to within a run at 3-2 in the seventh inning and the second delivering the winning run in the ninth. Bader has raised his season average 20 points to .215 since returning from Triple-A Memphis on Aug. 20 by going 13-for-39 with two doubles, a triple, a home run, nine RBI, nine walks, a stolen base and 11 runs.

Bader is not in the lineup for Game 1 of Saturday's doubleheader against the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
Bader is slashing .321/.457/.571 with one home run, one steal and a 7:5 BB:K in nine games since returning to the majors, but he'll head to the bench for the first game of Saturday's twin bill as the Cardinals go with an outfield consisting of Marcell Ozuna, Dexter Fowler and Tommy Edman.

Wed 8/28/19 11:29 AM

Bader went 3-for-4 with an RBI double and a run in win over the Brewers on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Bader helped give the Cardinals some valuable breathing room with his ninth-inning two-bagger, which plated Yadier Molina to extend the lead to 5-3 at the time. The outfielder is progressively clawing his way back to offensive respectability since his return from a sabbatical at Triple-A Memphis, as he's quickly boosted his season average 16 points to .211 by going 9-for-25 with two doubles, a triple, a home run, six RBI, seven walks, a stolen base and eight runs over his first eight games back at the big-league level.
