Stanton is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Nationals, according to Clark Spencer of the Miami Herald.
EDGE Analysis
Stanton homered in each of the Marlins' last two games, but he also started back-to-back days for the first time in over a month, so manager Don Mattingly decided to hold him out Wednesday. Stanton is presumably able to pinch hit, but he will open on the bench while Ichiro Suzuki gets the nod in right field.

Stanton went 1-for-2 with a walk and a home run in a 1-0 win over the Nationals on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Stanton provided all the offense for the Marlins, as they managed just three hits all night off Tanner Roark and the Nationals. It's Stanton's second straight day with a home run, bringing his total to 27 on the season, which matches his total from last year, albeit in many fewer games.

Stanton will start in right field Tuesday for the second day in a row, Andre Fernandez of the Miami Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Tuesday's start will be the third Stanton has made since returning to action Sept. 6, and will mark the first time he has been in the lineup back-to-back days since Aug. 12 and 13. He was taken out of Monday's game after walking in his third plate appearance, but he looked plenty healthy blasting a long home run earlier in the game.

Stanton went 1-for-2 with a walk and a huge solo homer in a 4-3 win over the Nationals on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Staton's blast travelled roughly 466 feet to left field, and was his 26th of the year. It's been a rough 2016 campaign for Stanton, whose batting average plummeted to .244 this year, the lowest of his career. His .497 slugging percentage is also down significantly from the .606 mark he posted in 2015 where he hit 27 home runs in just 74 games.

Stanton is in the lineup for Monday's game against the Nationals, Andre Fernandez of the Miami Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stanton was limited to bench duty for two days after starting Friday for the first time since Aug. 13, but his presence in Monday's lineup indicates he was simply being rested and did not suffer any sort of setback with his groin injury. Stanton will man right field and hit fifth in the Marlins' batting order Monday night.

Stanton is out of the lineup Sunday against the Phillies, MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Marlins haven't indicated that Stanton suffered any setbacks with his recent groin injury after returning to the starting lineup Friday, but with the team's playoff hopes falling by the wayside, there's little reason to push the outfielder after he returned from the injury earlier than anticipated. Stanton will likely make a few more starts over the final two weeks, but don't expect the Marlins to use him on an everyday basis. Derek Dietrich will make a start in the outfield Sunday while Stanton remains available off the bench as a pinch-hitting option.

Stanton is out of the lineup Saturday against the Phillies, Clark Spencer of the Miami Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stanton made his much-anticipated return to the lineup Friday after being limited to pinch-hit duty for a week following his activation from the DL. The 26-year-old finished 0-for-2 but drew two walks and scored a run in the Marlins' series-opening loss. It seems he'll remain limited over the rest of the season as the groin issue continues to linger, but most will still want Stanton active even if he sits every other day or so.

Stanton (groin) is back in the lineup batting second and playing right field in Friday's game against the Phillies, Clark Spencer off the Miami Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
When Stanton originally suffered the groin injury it looked as if he might be out for the season, but after making five pinch-hit appearances over the past week, he's finally ready to give it a go in the outfield. It remains to be seen if he's ready to play multiple days in a row, but with the Marlins hanging on for dear life in the Wild Card race, Stanton will try and give Miami whatever he has in the tank.

Stanton (groin) could rejoin the lineup as soon as this weekend against the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
When the injury initially occurred, it was believed that Stanton could be done for the season. He's instead made a number of pinch-hit appearances over the past week and may be ready to return to the field soon. A recent 5-2 run has put the Marlins back on the fringe of playoff contention, and the return of their superstar slugger could give the team and fantasy owners the power push needed to close out the regular season. Expect more information on Stanton's situation as the week progresses.

Stanton made a surprise return from a groin injury Tuesday night, delivering a pinch hit single in the fifth inning.
EDGE Analysis
It's encouraging to see Stanton back in action, especially as it appeared he would lose the rest of this season to injury. Marlins manager Don Mattingly told reporters Tuesday that Stanton would be limited to pinch-hitting until further notice, so he holds little fantasy value until he's back in the starting lineup.
