Cole was roughed up in his previous rehab start, but he was in top form Sunday. Cole threw 73 pitches Sunday and has made three rehab starts, so there is a chance his next appearance could come with the Pirates later this week.

Regardless, the Pirates seem likely to send Cole for at least one more rehab start before returning him to the major league rotation.
