Thames will give his hamstring injury a good test on Monday before the Brewers decide whether or not to activate him, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Thames is already eligible to return, but Monday's test will be the true indicator of his timetable. "It's a possibility," manager Craig Counsell said. "He'll participate in live BP with (pitcher) Zach (Davies) tomorrow, take some live swings. He'll do some running and stuff, and see what that brings."

Thames (hamstring) was placed on the 10-day disabled list Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
The hamstring tightened up Friday night and now Thames is on the DL for the second time this season, having missed an extended stretch earlier in the year with a torn UCL in his thumb. Thames will be eligible to return for the Brewers' fifth game out of the All-Star break should he prove ready. Keon Broxton and Hernan Perez figure to see an uptick in playing time in the interim.

Thames exited Friday's game against the Pirates in the third inning due to right hamstring tightness.
EDGE Analysis
The severity of the injury will likely be revealed after the game, although there's a good chance Thames could be held out until the All-Star break as a precaution. He was replaced in right field by Hernan Perez.

Thames went 1-for-1 with a solo home run Sunday against the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
Thames took advantage of his one at-bat, taking Evan Phillips deep for his 13th home run of the season. He was out of the lineup with lefty Sean Newcomb on the mound, but should still see regular at-bats with Ryan Braun (back) on the disabled list.

Thames is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
Thames has reached base in his last nine starts and is slashing .273/.385/.545 with three home runs in that stretch, but will take a seat against Braves' left-hander Sean Newcomb on Sunday. Ryan Braun (back) is now on the disabled list through the All-Star break, leaving plenty of opportunities for Thames to continue making starts in the outfield despite Lorenzo Cain (groin) returning from the disabled list.

Thames went 1-for-3 with two walks and a solo home run in Saturday's 12-3 loss to the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
It's his 11th homer of the season and second in three games. Thames is hitting only .218 (12-for-55) through 16 games since coming off the disabled list with four home runs and 11 RBI, but the Brewers' injury-plagued outfield should continue to afford him regular at-bats until the likes of Christian Yelich (back), Lorenzo Cain (groin) and Ryan Braun (back) get healthier.

Thames went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run Thursday against the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
Thames pulled an Amir Garrett offering out to right field in the seventh inning to put the Brewers up 5-4. The three-run shot was his 10th home run of the season and third since returning from his thumb injury on June 12. He should continue to see regular playing time with the demotion of Domingo Santana and injury to Lorenzo Cain (groin), though he has only 13 at-bats against left-handed pitchers on the season.

Thames is out of the lineup against Kansas City on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Thames will receive a day off following five straight starts, including a multi-hit game during Tuesday's victory. In his place, the Brewers will trot out an outfield of Ryan Braun, Christian Yelich and Keon Broxton.

Thames went 2-for-4 with a pair of long balls and four RBI in Sunday's 10-9 loss to Milwaukee.
EDGE Analysis
Thames was just 1-for-10 with six strikeouts since his return from thumb surgery, but Sunday might have been the slump-breaker he was looking for. Not only did he hit two long balls, they were pretty clutch ones at that. He lead off the bottom half of the first with one before launching a three-run shot in the ninth to nearly finish off a late rally.

Thames is not in the lineup Friday against the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
Thames has started just one of four games since returning from the disabled list Monday. On Monday and Wedesday, he sat against a left-hander, with the righty Jesus Aguilar starting instead, but Aguilar will start again Friday despite the Brewers facing the right-handed Jake Arrieta.
