Haase (abdomen) caught a bullpen session and took batting practice Thursday, Cody Stavenhagen of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Haase hit the injured list with an abdominal strain earlier in the day, but it doesn't look as though the Tigers are overly concerned about the issue. The team hasn't officially said that he'll be back after a minimum-length stay on the shelf, but the fact that he's already going through baseball activities the same day he hit the injured list seems to hint in that direction.

The Tigers placed Haase (back) on the 10-day injured list Thursday with a right abdominal strain.
EDGE Analysis
Detroit withheld Haase from the lineup for each of the past three games with an injury the team labeled as lower-back tightness, but follow-up tests apparently revealed the abdominal strain. The severity of Haase's injury isn't known, but he'll be on the shelf for at least the next week. Grayson Greiner will operate as Detroit's No. 1 catcher while Haase is on the IL.

Haase (back) isn't starting Wednesday's game against the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
Haase was scratched from Tuesday's lineup due to low back tightness, and he'll remain on the bench for Wednesday's contest. Grayson Greiner will start behind the dish and bat eighth.

Haase was scratched from Tuesday's lineup against the Orioles because of low back tightness.
EDGE Analysis
Haase was originally slated to bat seventh and catch Casey Mize, but the back issue will force him to the bench. Grayson Greiner will enter the lineup as the catcher, and Haase can be considered day-to-day for the time being.

Haase is not in the lineup Sunday against Cleveland, Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
Haase started the past 11 games (eight at catcher, two at designated hitter and one in left field), and he'll receive a well-deserved day off in the series finale versus Cleveland. Grayson Greiner will work behind the plate in his place Sunday.

Haase went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's loss to Cleveland.
EDGE Analysis
Haase continued his strong season, connecting for his 19th home run of the season in the fifth inning. The Detroit catcher had one career MLB home run before this year in limited playing time and had never finished with an OPS above .387. He's currently sporting an .802 OPS and should remain a primary offensive option for the Tigers.

Haase went 2-for-4 with a stolen base in Saturday's 2-1 win over Cleveland.
EDGE Analysis
Haase has typically provided most of his fantasy value this season through his power production, but he made a rare impact on the bases Saturday. The 28-year-old rookie is locked in atop the depth chart at catcher, and because the Tigers want to keep his potent bat in the lineup, he should have a spot in the lineup at designated hitter on most occasions when he's getting the day off behind the dish. Grayson Greiner will catch in Sunday's series finale while Haase serves as the DH and bats out of the cleanup spot.

Haase earned American League Rookie of the Month honors for July after slashing .265/.319/.627 in the month with nine home runs and 29 RBI.
EDGE Analysis
Haase exploded onto the scene in July by hitting half of his season total of 18 home runs and recording more than half of his 46 RBI. The 28-year-old has surprisingly emerged as an everyday player for the Tigers after beginning the year lower on the depth chart, and his grip on playing time got stronger when Jake Rogers (forearm) hit the injured list on July 19. Haase should remain entrenched in Detroit's lineup, and while he likely won't keep up July's productivity the rest of the season, he should still maintain fantasy relevance in his current role.

Haase went 1-for-3 with a double, three walks, three RBI and three runs scored in Wednesday's win over the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
Threes were wild for Haase, who drove in seven runs combined in the last two games of the series against Minnesota. That gives him 41 RBI this season, and he's become a fairly productive option for the Tigers in recent weeks. Haase should be locked in as the team's top catcher while Jake Rogers (forearm) is on the injured list.

Haase went 1-for-4 with a grand slam in Tuesday's extra-inning win over the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
Haase made his lone hit count, taking Hansel Robles deep in the top of the ninth inning with the bases loaded to tie the game at 5-5. Haase now has 17 home runs and 38 RBI this season in what's been something of a breakout campaign, considering he came into the year with just one home run and six RBI across 26 games at the MLB level. He should continue to serve as Detroit's primary catcher with Jake Rogers (forearm) on the injured list.
