Jackson (2-2) gave up four runs on six hits while striking out eight over five innings in a loss to the Cubs on Saturday. He did not issue a walk.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander stumbled out of the blocks, giving up five hits (three for extra bases) in a four-run first inning. He settled down from there, finishing his day with four straight scoreless frames, but the damage was already done. While Jackson has been surprisingly adequate since joining Washington, and it appears he will continue on in the rotation for time being, his track record should scare off most prospective mixed-league owners.

Jackson allowed one run on four hits across seven innings in a 3-1 win over Colorado on Sunday. He struck out six and walked two.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson hasn't recorded a ton of strikeouts (12 in 19 innings) since being converted to a starter with his new team, but he's only issues five free passes during that span and has emerged victorious twice. For those in deep leagues, he's a decent streaming options for wins at the bottom of the rotation for an excellent Nationals club.

Jackson (1-1) allowed seven runs (three earned) on seven hits and three walks across five innings in Tuesday's loss to the Brewers. He struck out three.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson was victimized by the long ball in this one, yielding a three-run home run to Travis Shaw in the fourth inning before Eric Thames and Manny Pina went back-to-back with solo shots in the fifth. A Ryan Zimmerman error expunged four of the runs from Jackson's record, but the Brewers won comfortably regardless, thanks to a gem from Zack Davies on the other side. Jackson was effective in his first start with his new club, but this outing was a step backward and he will look to get back on track Sunday against the Rockies.

Jackson (1-0) gave up two runs on three hits while striking out three over seven innings in Tuesday's win over the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
Two of the three hits he allowed left the yard for solo shots, but the veteran righty was otherwise able to avoid any damage. Jackson's turn will be skipped next time through the rotation, but he could get a long look as part of the Nats staff if they don't acquire another starter at the trade deadline, and the team's offense could make him in interesting source of wins down the stretch even if his ratios are sketchy.

Jackson had his contract purchased from Triple-A Syracuse on Tuesday, Dan Kolko of MASN Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
As expected, the veteran hurler will emerge from the minors to start Tuesday's contest with the Angels. Jackson will take his career 4.65 ERA to Anaheim to face off with right-hander Jesse Chavez in what will mark the 33-year-old's first MLB start of the season.

Jackson will be called up by the Nationals on Tuesday for his first start of the season, Jorge Castillo of the Washington Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson has started four games for Triple-A Syracuse since agreeing to a minor-league deal with Washington in mid-June. The 33-year-old has allowed just one earned run during 20.1 innings of action, with a 22:10 K:BB. It will be intriguing to see how Jackson fares after getting roughed up in the three games he pitched in for Baltimore this season, although each of those came out of the bullpen. If all goes well for the right-hander on Tuesday, he could be in line to make a move into the Nationals' rotation for the time being, due to Joe Ross's elbow injury that will require Tommy John surgery.

Jackson signed a minor-league deal with the Nationals on Friday and will report to Triple-A Syracuse, Chelsea Janes of The Washington Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
The well-traveled right-hander was designated for assignment by the Orioles on June 11 but found a home quickly afterward with a club desperate for starting pitcher depth. Jackson spun a 3.10 ERA with Triple-A Norfolk over 12 appearances (one start) and allowed four earned runs in five innings of pro relief with Baltimore. However, he should occupy a better spot on the organizational depth chart with Washington and perhaps garner mild NL-only fantasy value if the big club needs him.

Jackson cleared waivers Tuesday and elected free agency, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson was designated for assignment Sunday, and given his vast major-league experience, it comes as little surprise that he'll refuse his assignment. His numbers in the big leagues this season weren't pretty, but he posted reasonable numbers in the minors, so it seems like he still has something in the tank for a team willing to take a flier on the veteran.

The Orioles designated Jackson for assignment Sunday, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
The well-traveled Jackson was able to parlay a respectable showing with Triple-A Norfolk earlier in the season into a promotion to the Orioles last week, but the right-hander failed to make a positive impression upon joining the big club. He made three appearances for the Orioles, conceding four runs on 11 hits and two walks. Assuming he goes unclaimed off waivers, Jackson will likely report back to Norfolk and await another call up to the big club later in the season.

Jackson was called up to the big leagues on Wednesday prior to the Orioles contest against Pittsburgh.
EDGE Analysis
The 33-year-old will head back to the majors after accumulating a 3.10 ERA over 20.1 innings at Triple-A Norfolk. He amassed 17 strikeouts during his time on the mound, and will be set up with a role in the bullpen with the Orioles. In his place, left-hander Donnie Hart was optioned to Norfolk. This marks the 12th team Jackson has played for in his career at the major-league level, and could eventually see a role as a spot starter down the road.
