Bundy (2-8) allowed three hits and two walks while striking out six across 6.1 scoreless innings to earn the win Thursday against the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
Bundy tallied his first quality start since May 2 and his first win since June 7 with this effort. Despite the strong results, there were still some concerning signs as he started only 10 of the 24 batters he faced with a strike and also had seven swinging strikes on 84 total pitches. Nevertheless, it was an encouraging outing for Bundy, and he should have a chance to stick in the rotation so long as Alex Cobb (wrist) is sidelined.

Bundy is scheduled to start Thursday's game against the Rangers, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
After working as a reliever for most of the past month, Bundy picked up a start last week versus the Athletics, working 4.1 innings while surrendering three runs on two hits and four walks. While that outing likely won't be enough to keep Bundy in the rotation permanently, the recent trade of Andrew Heaney to the Yankees along with Alex Cobb's (wrist) move to the injured list will allow the 28-year-old to pick up another start. Whether working out of the rotation or bullpen this season, Bundy hasn't been remotely effective, compiling a 6.66 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 70:27 K:BB In 74.1 innings.

Bundy (1-8) lost Thursday's 4-0 game at the hand of the Athletics, allowing three runs on two hits and four walks with two strikeouts in 4.1 innings.
EDGE Analysis
Bundy calmed down after permitting the game's first three batters to reach base, all of whom would eventually score, to retire 12 of 13 Athletics between the first and fifth innings. It was reported that Bundy would only throw 50-60 pitches, but he stayed in for 72 given his successful rebound following the first inning, though he threw just 56 percent of his pitches for strikes. Bundy's stay in the rotation may hinge on the recently acquired Alex Cobb's blister, though the adequate showing may earn Bundy more innings on an Angels team desperate for pitching.

Bundy will only throw 50-to-60 pitches in Thursday's start against the Athletics, Sam Blum of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
This doesn't come as much surprise given that Bundy hasn't tossed more than 50 pitches in an outing since June 20. Bundy has most recently worked out of the bullpen after struggling as a starter earlier in the season, though that hasn't helped his results as he's allowed three earned runs across three innings as a reliever. Manager Joe Maddon said that a bulk reliever will follow after Bundy, but he declined to name that pitcher in advance.

Angels manager Joe Maddon said Bundy will start Thursday's game against the Athletics, J.P. Hoornstra of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.
EDGE Analysis
After posting a 6.78 ERA and 1.42 WHIP through his first 14 starts of the season, Bundy was moved to the bullpen in late June. The Angels haven't made much use of him since he transitioned to relief duty, with Bundy covering just five frames across four appearances while giving up four runs (three earned) and striking out eight. Bundy may only be making a spot start Thursday in place of Alex Cobb (finger), who is tending to a blister that could result in his placement on the injured list. Since Bundy hasn't tossed more than 50 pitches in an outing since June 20, he likely won't be asked to work deep into Thursday's contest.

Angels manager Joe Maddon said Thursday that Bundy will pitch out of the bullpen moving forward, Sam Blum of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bundy vomited on the mound during his most recent start Monday against the Yankees, an unfortunate metaphor for how his season has gone thus far. Since he only tossed 43 pitches in that outing, the Angels made Bundy available in relief in Wednesday's 11-8 comeback win over New York, when Shohei Ohtani was bounced from the game early. Bundy struck out three in two scoreless frames after Ohtani exited, and the Angels evidently saw enough promise from the 28-year-old in the relief role to give him an extended look out of the bullpen. Even if Bundy ultimately finds more long-term success out of the bullpen, the move from the rotation is undoubtedly a negative development for his fantasy prospects. After Bundy broke out last season to produce a career-low 3.29 ERA and career-high 27.0 percent strikeout rate, fantasy managers invested an early-round pick in him and had high expectations, but he's struggled to a 6.58 ERA while striking out a career-low 21.5 percent of opposing batters in 67 frames. Jose Suarez will step into the rotation in Bundy's place.

Bundy left Monday's game against the Yankees due to heat exhaustion.
EDGE Analysis
Bundy was forced to leave the contest after falling ill, but it shouldn't cause him to miss any further time. He'll be considered day-to-day moving forward.

EDGE Analysis
Bundy fell ill while on the field and threw up behind the mound before exiting with team trainers. The severity of the illness is not known at this time.

Bundy yielded two runs (one earned) on four hits and three walks over four innings in Sunday's loss to Detroit. He struck out two and did not factor in the decision.
EDGE Analysis
Bundy gave up an unearned run in the third inning on an error by David Fletcher and was later tagged with a run in the fifth after he'd been lifted from the game. It was just the second time in his last seven starts that he gave up fewer than four runs. The 28-year-old lowered his ERA to 6.68 alongside a 60:30 K:BB.

Bundy (1-7) allowed seven runs on five hits and two walks over 2.1 innings Monday, striking out three and taking a loss against Oakland.
EDGE Analysis
Bundy coughed up a two-run shot to Sean Murphy in the second inning but most of the damage against him came during Oakland's five-run third frame. He allowed four runs in the inning before he was removed in favor of James Hoyt who would let an inherited runner score. Bundy has now failed to finish six innings in six straight starts and his ERA jumped once again to an unsightly 6.98 through 59.1 innings. Bundy is lined up for a home matchup with the Tigers this weekend.
