Bundy gave up one run over three innings with four strikeouts and no walks in Friday's spring training loss to Pittsburgh.
EDGE Analysis
Bundy finished 2021 with a strained shoulder and inked a one-year deal with Minnesota before the start of the lockout. He's looked sharp this spring with five strikeouts and one walk over five innings with one run allowed (on a home run). With the Twins failing to sign more veteran pitchers, Bundy looks locked in as the No. 3 or No. 4 starter to begin the season.

Bundy (shoulder) will start Sunday's spring game against the Rays, Phil Miller of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bundy finished 2021 with a strained shoulder and inked a one-year deal with Minnesota before the start of the lockout, and he'll make his spring debut for the Twins on Sunday. The 29-year-old delivered a strong 3.29 ERA over 65.2 innings during the shortened 2020 campaign, but he struggled for the Angels last season with a 6.06 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 84:34 K:BB across 90.2 frames.

Bundy (shoulder) signed a one-year deal with the Twins on Wednesday that includes a club option for a second year, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bundy finished last season on the 60-day injured list with a shoulder strain. He had a 6.06 ERA and 1.36 WHIP in 90.2 innings prior to suffering the injury. Bundy had the best season of his career in 2020, when he logged a 3.29 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 72 strikeouts in 65.2 innings. The former top prospect will make $4 million in 2022 with a $1 million buyout on an $11 million club option in 2023, so it's $5 million guaranteed, per Jon Heyman of MLB Network.

Bundy (shoulder) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Bundy originally landed on the injured list Aug. 25 with a strain in his right shoulder. Though he has voiced optimism that he would be able to return to the mound this season, that will no longer be possible after moving to the 60-day IL. He'll end the campaign with a 6.06 ERA and 1.36 WHIP in 90.2 frames as both a starter and reliever.

Bundy (shoulder) had a recent simulated game in Chicago cut short and, per manager Joe Maddon, is unlikely to pitch again this season, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bundy recently stated that he intended to return to the big club before the end of the campaign, but he couldn't complete a scheduled three-inning simulated game due to discomfort and is now almost certain to be shut down for the remainder of the season. After breaking out with a career-best campaign in 2020, the right-hander has suffered through a miserable 2021 season, posting his worst ERA (6.06) as a big leaguer while registering a 2-9 record. Bundy will be a free agent in the offseason, and his struggles this year -- along with the shoulder injury -- have likely lowered his attractiveness to big-league clubs considerably.

Bundy (shoulder) threw a bullpen session Wednesday and expects to return this season, Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bundy's session Wednesday included just 20 pitches -- all of which were fastballs -- and will be followed by another bullpen Saturday. He'll need to face live hitters and mix in all of his pitches before being able to return to game action, but the right-hander remains confident that he'll be back with the big club before the end of the campaign. "We haven't gotten that far, as far as how many pitches I need to get up to or whatnot, but I'm very confident that before the season is over I'll be back out there at some point," Bundy said.

Bundy was placed on the 10-day injured list Wednesday with a right shoulder strain.
EDGE Analysis
There was no indication Bundy had left Tuesday's start after 1.1 innings due to an injury, but apparently he injured his shoulder in that brief, one-run outing. The righty will be eligible to return from the IL in early September, though it's unclear whether that will be enough time for him to get healthy. 2021 has been a miserable season for Bundy, who's gone 2-9 with a 6.06 ERA in 90.2 innings.

Bundy allowed one run on one hit and three walks while striking out three across 1.1 innings during Tuesday's win over the Orioles. He did not factor into the decision.
EDGE Analysis
Bundy continued this season's struggles with another poor performance. After serving up a solo homer to Ryan Mountcastle in the first inning, the right-hander faced four batters in the second, walking two and hitting one before getting pulled. Since rejoining the rotation, Bundy has given up nine runs and 11 walks across five starts (20.2 innings), bringing his ERA to 6.06. Even if Bundy gets another chance in the rotation, he's not a reliable option for fantasy purposes.

Bundy allowed two runs on three hits and a pair of walks while striking out three over 4.2 innings against the Tigers on Tuesday. He did not factor into the decision.
EDGE Analysis
It was another mediocre performance for Bundy, who has turned in one strong start in his four opportunities since rejoining the rotation. The right-hander has given up eight runs and eight walks in that span. It's been a tough season for Bundy, who has pitched to the tune of a 6.04 ERA and 1.33 WHIP across 22 outings, including 18 starts. The 28-year-old is expected to stick in the rotation while Alex Cobb (wrist) remains on the shelf. Bundy tentatively lines up for a road contest at Baltimore next week.

Bundy (2-9) took the loss against Toronto on Wednesday, pitching four innings and allowing three runs on four hits and no walks while striking out two.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran hurler was given another start after posting 6.1 scoreless innings against Texas his last time out. Things didn't go nearly as well against the Blue Jays, who rattled Bundy for a pair of third-inning homers. In fact, all four of Toronto's hits against the right-hander went for extra bases. Bundy has had a tremendously disappointing campaign, posting a 6.17 ERA through 84.2 innings. It looks like he could stick in the rotation, though, at least until Alex Cobb (wrist) is able to return from the injured list.
