Bundy was charged with five runs (four earned) over 5.2 frames in his Grapefruit League start Sunday against the Mets. He scattered five hits and a walk and struck out six batters.
EDGE Analysis
Bundy sports an ugly 9.00 ERA and 1.80 WHIP over his four starts this spring but remains the leading candidate to take the hill when the Orioles open the season March 29 against the Twins. The right-hander seemed to find a groove late last season and delivered 3.58 ERA (2.84 FIP) and 10.7 K/9 over his final eight starts, offering optimism that he might settle in as the Orioles' staff ace in 2018.

Bundy (hamstring) is fully healthy heading into the 2018 season and was able to throw another bullpen Friday at spring camp, Rich Dubroff of PressBoxonline.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bundy dealt with a hamstring issue near the end of the 2017 season, and although it didn't appear to be anything of major concern, it's a good sign that the right-hander is fully participating in all drills at the club's spring camp. Over 28 starts last year, he posted a 4.24 ERA and 1.20 WHIP with a 152:51 K:BB in 169.2 innings.

Bundy (hamstring) is not expected to make another start this season, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bundy recently experienced some spasms in his leg, which resulted in his scratch from Sunday's start. Manager Buck Showalter said after the game that the leg issue was actually a blessing, as he feels Bundy has thrown enough innings already this season -- Bundy has thrown exactly 60 more frames than he did a year ago. The right-hander seemed to wear down late in the campaign, but he showed flashes of brilliance and will look to take another step forward in his age-25 season.

Bundy was scratched from Sunday's scheduled start against the Rays due to a strained hamstring.
EDGE Analysis
Chris Tillman is filling in for Bundy on Sunday. The team hasn't elaborated on the severity of Bundy's injury, so his availability for the remainder of the season is unclear as of now. Bundy has struggled a bit lately, as he's allowed 12 runs over his last three starts (14.1 innings).

Bundy was scratched from starting Sunday's game against the Rays, Jon Meoli of The Baltimore Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Orioles will send Chris Tillman to the hill instead of Bundy on Sunday afternoon. The reason for the change is unknown at this point in time, but more information should be available in the near future.

Manager Buck Showalter said Tuesday that there currently are no plans to shut down Bundy before the regular season ends, Eduardo A. Encina of The Baltimore Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bundy has a lengthy injury history and has already thrown 60 more innings than the 109.2 frames he threw last year -- his most in a season as a professional -- but the Orioles are apparently comfortable with his stamina and his health and will keep him in the rotation as they continue their playoff push. Baltimore's chances are fading fast though, and the team could change course with Bundy if they are officially knocked out of the race.

Bundy allowed six runs on seven hits and one walk across 4.1 innings in a no-decision Monday against the Red Sox. He struck out two.
EDGE Analysis
Bundy, who allowed just one run through four innings, struggled in the fifth to the tune of five runs on four hits and a walk before his removal with one out. He threw 67 percent of his pitches for strikes but missed over the plate several times and paid the price. Bundy has alternated strong starts with poor outings over his last four turns and will look to get back on track Sunday against the Rays.

Bundy allowed just one run on five hits and a walk while striking out eight Blue Jays in a no-decision Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Closer Zach Britton gave up two runs in the bottom of the ninth inning to allow Toronto to walk off with Bundy's win. Despite the disappointment, the right-hander continued his late-season success as Bundy notched his sixth quality start in his last seven games. He'll take a 4.03 ERA and 1.18 WHIP into his next start Sunday against the Yankees.

Bundy (13-9) earned the loss after allowing five runs on five hits and four walks over four innings Monday against the Yankees. He struck out five batters.
EDGE Analysis
It was a rare second-half slip-up for Bundy, who earned his first loss in eight starts since the All-Star break. Prior to Monday's outing, Bundy had compiled five consecutive quality starts, posting a 2.00 ERA and 45:6 K:BB across 36 innings over that stretch. He'll look to get back on track in his next scheduled start, which is lined up for Monday against the Blue Jays.

Bundy (13-8) threw a one-hitter against the Mariners on Wednesday to earn his 13th win of the season. He struck out 12 and issued two walks.
EDGE Analysis
The 12 strikeouts were a career high, and Bundy has now reached double-digit strikeouts in three of his last four starts. He has a 3.04 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and 53:10 K:BB over 47.1 innings since the All-Star break. It's easy to forget that Bundy is still just 24 years old given that he first broke into the majors in 2012. The injury history remains a concern, but Bundy is finally living up to the hype from his prospect days with his performance on the field.
