Bundy struggled mightily in July, posting an 8.41 ERA -- his worst such mark for any month of his career -- while opponents battered him for a season-high .282 BAA over four starts and 20.1 innings.
EDGE Analysis
Bundy's ERA has been inflating since ending April with a 1.65 mark, and it's now up to a season-high 4.53 through 20 starts. Hitters had no trouble squaring the ball up against the right-hander last month, as Bundy managed a career-worst 7.6 percent soft-contact rate. Expectations ran high before his sophomore campaign began, but the 24-year-old has shown this season that he has a lot to learn before owners can trust him on a regular basis.

Bundy will make his next start Tuesday against the Royals, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bundy was expected to take the hill this weekend against the Rangers, but manager Buck Showalter elected to slide the right-hander down in the rotation following the team's scheduled day off Thursday. During his prior start versus Houston on Sunday, Bundy allowed seven runs on eight hits and three walks over 5.1 innings of work, marking his worst start of the season. He will take the extended time off to rest and clear his head, while Kevin Gausman and Wade Miley are set to toe the rubber Saturday and Sunday, respectively.

Bundy allowed seven runs on eight hits and three walks while striking out four batters through 5.1 innings during Sunday's win over Houston. He didn't factor into the decision.
EDGE Analysis
There have been a few peaks and valleys throughout the season for Bundy, but overreacting to a tough outing against the highest-scoring team in the league is ill-advised. His numbers don't jump off the page (4.53 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 6.9 K/9), but Bundy has shown enough this season to be viewed as a serviceable fantasy asset moving forward. He projects to face the Rangers at Globe Life Park in Arlington in his next start.

Bundy (9-8) tossed six innings of one-run ball during Tuesday's win over the Rangers, allowing four hits and one walk with four strikeouts.
EDGE Analysis
Bundy allowed a leadoff home run to Shin-Soo Choo, but he settled down in short order and only allowed four baserunners over six full frames thereafter. He owed much of his success on the night to his location, which included first-pitch strikes to 17 of 23 batters while 68 percent of his pitches found the strike zone. There were concerns that Bundy's substandard performance leading up to the All-Star break was partially due to a lack of endurance, but a 12-day break seemed to freshen him up and he will look to build on this outing Sunday against the Astros.

Bundy will open his second half when he takes the hill Tuesday at home against Texas, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
With high expectations entering the season, Bundy disappointed with a 4.33 ERA and .500 record (8-8) in the first half. He started hot, winning five of his first six decisions, but then struggled to find the win column -- as well as keep the ball from flying over the fence. Before his last outing, Bundy had given up at least one homer in 11 straight games.

Bundy (8-8) took the loss Thursday against the Twins, allowing six earned runs over 5.0 innings. He gave up five hits and two walks and added four strikeouts.
EDGE Analysis
Bundy cruised through the first two innings on just 25 pitches before running into major trouble in the third. The Twins batted around on him in that inning and scratched across all six of their runs in the frame to to give them a lead they would not relinquish. Although Bundy got a bit unlucky with some defensive issues behind him in the third, he still gave up some hard contact throughout what would be the decisive inning. Bundy's ERA now sits at 4.33 entering the All-Star break after notching a 2.89 mark through the first two months of the season. He's gone 5.0 innings or less in four of his last five outings, so the upcoming extended rest entering second half is a welcome sight.

Bundy (8-7) allowed five runs on seven hits while striking out seven across four innings to take the loss Saturday against the Rays.
EDGE Analysis
Bundy gave up three runs in the first inning, and was lifted after throwing 99 pitches in just four innings. Since boasting a 2.93 ERA on June 3, his ERA has soared to 4.02 in less than a month, and he's becoming a player with significant risk when using him in fantasy lineups. He'll make his next start Thursday against the Twins.

Bundy will move to the back-end of the rotation following his start Thursday, giving him 11 days off with the All-Star break in between, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
This allows Bundy to get more time off following his rough month of June. The right-hander posted a 5.93 ERA with a 24:13 K:BB during his five starts while allowing seven home runs over the course of 27.1 innings on the mound. Manager Buck Showalter is hopeful that this clears the 24-year-old's head and allows him to work it out over the break.

Bundy struggled to a 2-3 record and 5.93 ERA over five June starts, allowing a career-worst seven home runs during the month.
EDGE Analysis
The young gun opened 2017 without allowing a home run through his first 26.1 innings (four starts), but he's surrendered at least one deep fly in 11 of 12 outings since then, including four multi-homer games. Bundy enters May with a season-worst 3.73 ERA, but has performed admirably overall. His eight wins are good for fifth-best in the AL, and Bundy's 99 innings pitched rank in the league's top ten. The 24-year-old righty is on pace to log 200-plus innings and notch 150 punch outs this season.

Bundy will start Saturday's home game against Tampa Bay, Mandy Bell of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The O's rotation entered the weekend series with a bit of uncertainty, but things have panned out and Bundy will go against the Rays for a second straight game. He dealt seven quality innings in last Saturday's victory in Tampa, and owns a 3.38 ERA, .200 BAA and 11:6 BB:K over two starts against the Rays this season.
