Dillon Gee followed up his worst outing of the year with one of his best, tossing five innings of one-run ball on Wednesday. He closes out the spring with a 3.16 ERA, 1.21 WHIP, and a sterling 20/4 K/BB ratio. Provided he keeps the ball in the park, Gee should be primed for a solid season at the end of the Mets' rotation.

Dillon Gee hurled 5 2/3 shutout innings in a 2-0 win over the Nationals on Tuesday night. Very impressive. Gee gave up just three hits while fanning four and issuing one walk. The 25-year-old right-hander now has a 3.07 ERA and 13/4 K/BB ratio over 17 2/3 innings this spring. While he's not the most exciting fantasy option, he should do fine as the Mets' fifth starter.

Dillon Gee allowed two runs in four innings and struck out five Wednesday against the Tigers. There's no real shame in giving up a two-run homer to Prince Fielder. Gee, the Mets' No. 5 starter, has allowed five runs in nine innings this spring.

Dillon Gee yielded one run over two innings in his spring debut Monday against the Nationals. Gee gave up two hits (including a solo homer by Rick Ankiel) while striking out one and walking one. The 25-year-old is assured of a rotation spot this season after going 13-6 with a 4.43 ERA over 160 2/3 innings as a rookie last year, but there's not much fantasy upside here.

Dillon Gee will travel to Taiwan next month as part of the MLB team that will play in a five game exhibition series against the Chinese Taipei national team in the 2011 Taiwan All-Star series. Gee, 25, will participate in the five-game series that is set to take place in November. In 30 appearances this season he went 13-6 (.684) with a 4.43 ERA to post the best single-season winning percentage of any Mets rookie in franchise history.

Dillon Gee pitched well in a loss Thursday, limiting the Braves to three runs - two earned - on just four hits and two walks over six innings. He struck out six. Gee has alternated good and bad starts lately, but overall has just five quality starts in 10 chances since the All-Star break, watching his ERA jump up from 3.76 to 4.42 over that time. The 25-year-old will try to rebound next week against the Nationals.

Dillon Gee bounced back with a solid effort Monday, giving up just one run on six hits and two walks over six innings in a win over the Marlins. He also struck out six, which is a fairly lofty total for him. Gee was coming off a horrid outing in which he surrendered eight runs over just 3 2/3 innings to the Phillies, so it's good to see him put up a nice effort in this one. He'll bring a 4.24 ERA and 1.30 WHIP into this weekend's start against the Nats.

Dillon Gee was destroyed for eight runs on seven hits and six walks over 3 2/3 innings in New York's 10-0 loss to the Phillies. It was by far his worst start of the season. Gee has just two quality starts in his last six outings, causing his ERA to jump from 3.67 to 4.37. He can't even be used in NL-only leagues at this point. Gee gets the Braves next.

Dillon Gee held the Padres to just one run on five hits in 6 2/3 innings on Wednesday, improving to 11-4 in New York's 7-3 win in San Diego. He struck out five while walking four. The quality start was just Gee's second in five outings. He'll take a 3.92 ERA and 1.23 WHIP into his Tuesday matchup with the Phillies.

Dillon Gee gave up four runs over five innings Friday in a loss to the Diamondbacks. Gee's ERA jumped over 4.00 to 4.07 with this one. He's still OK as a spot starter in NL-only leagues, but he should have a ways to go in order to secure a spot in the Mets' 2012 rotation.
