Gordon is not in the lineup Sunday against the Yankees, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gordon will retreat to the bench to avoid a lefty-on-lefty matchup with New York starter CC Sabathia. Robinson Cano will slide over to second base to replace him, allowing Ryon Healy to make a start at first base.

Gordon went 2-for-4 with a double in a win over the Orioles in Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Gordon had opened September with an 0-for-10 tally over his first three games, a modest slump he snapped out of Wednesday with his third multi-hit effort over the last six contests. The veteran's on-base percentage (.293) leaves plenty to be desired and is largely responsible for his banishment to the bottom of the order, but his 24 extra-base hits (17 doubles, five triples, two home runs) and 30 stolen bases certainly afford him a degree of fantasy utility.

Gordon is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Athletics.
EDGE Analysis
Gordon heads to the bench for the second time in the last four games despite having a modest seven-game hit streak, in which he is 9-for-27. Robinson Cano grabs the start at second base with Ryon Healy at first base Saturday.

Gordon went 2-for-4 with an RBI infield single in a win over the Athletics on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran drew the start at shortstop with Jean Segura (shin) a late scratch. Gordon manged to hit safely for the seventh time in the last eight games, but he still sports just a .205 average (17-for-83) in August largely due to a 3-for-31 tally over his first eight games of the month.

Gordon is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Padres, Shannon Drayer of 710 ESPN Seattle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gordon sits after starting 12 straight games, a stretch in which he hit just .233. Robinson Cano will slide over to second base, with Ryon Healy starting at first.

Gordon (shoulder) is starting at second base and hitting ninth Tuesday against the A's, Shannon Drayer of 710 ESPN Seattle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gordon, who was a late scratch from Monday's lineup, is slated to rejoin the starting nine after missing the previous two games with a shoulder injury. The speedster is hitting .278/.300/.339 with 27 stolen bases through 107 games this season. He'll face veteran right-hander Mike Fiers in his return to the starting nine.

Gordon was removed from Monday's starting lineup against the Athletics prior to game time, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gordon was originally penciled into the lineup at second base and he was slated to bat eighth, but Andrew Romine will be forced into action instead. Gordon has been dealing with a shoulder issue as of Sunday, and it appears the injury is still bothering him, so the Mariners will hold him out as a precaution. Expect the 30-year-old to be reevaluated once he arrives at the ballpark ahead of Tuesday's tilt.

Gordon (shoulder) is starting at second base and hitting eighth Monday against the A's, Shannon Drayer of 710 ESPN Seattle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gordon has been cleared to rejoin the lineup after being withheld from the starting nine Sunday due to a shoulder issue. The speedster was able to collect a hit -- and eventually score the winning run -- in a pinch hit appearance in the 10th inning Sunday, so fantasy owners should feel safe deploying him this week. Gordon is off to a slow start to the second half of the season (.256/.293/.308), but he's still hitting .278/.300/.339 with 27 stolen bases through 107 games this season.

Gordon (shoulder) entered the Mariners' extra-inning win over the Astros on Sunday as a pinch hitter in the 10th inning, singling and subsequently scoring the go-ahead run.
EDGE Analysis
Gordon's shoulder issues didn't hinder him for hitting successfully for Andrew Romine in the 10th, setting him up to eventually score what would turn out to be the winning run on Mitch Haniger's double. Gordon may be back in the lineup for Monday's series opener against the Athletics, although manager Scott Servais could opt to give him consecutive days off for the second time this month.

Gordon is not in the lineup Sunday, Alyson Footer of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
This news didn't raise any alarms given that the Astros are trotting lefty Dallas Keuchel to the mound for the series finale. However, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports that Gordon is actually dealing with a shoulder injury incurred during a slide in Saturday's game. He's available off the bench Sunday, but the Mariners may opt to be careful with him since they're getting All-Star second baseman Robinson Cano (suspension) back Tuesday. In the meantime, Andrew Romine will fill in at the keystone.
