Gordon (back) went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored Sunday in the Mariners' 6-4 win over the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
Gordon was back in the leadoff spot one day after the back injury confined him to the bench. Given that Gordon played the field all nine innings and turned in a quality showing at the plate, fantasy owners should have no reservations about keeping him active in the final week before the All-Star break.

Gordon (back) will bat leadoff and start at second base in Sunday's series finale against the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
Gordon left Friday's game due to back tightness and was held out Saturday as a precaution, but will return to his regular role for the series finale. The infielder opened the month of July on a five-game hitting streak, but owns just a .560 OPS since June 1.

Gordon (back) is not starting Saturday against the Rockies, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gordon left Friday's game with a back injury and will spend at least one game out of the lineup. Andrew Romine gets the start at second base in his absence.

Gordon went 2-for-4 with an RBI single, a triple and a run in a win over the Angels on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Gordon hit safely for the fourth consecutive game while lacing his third three-bagger of the season in the process. The speedy infielder hit a mediocre .248 in June, but factoring in Thursday's production, he's cobbled together a .313 average over the first four games of July.

Gordon went 2-for-5 with a run in an extra-inning win over the Orioles on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Gordon was a pesky thorn in the side of Orioles pitching during the four-game set, going 6-for-20 with a double, two RBI, two stolen bases and three runs over that span. The 30-year-old continues to turn in solid glove work at the keystone as well, and his speed allowed him to score from second with the go-ahead run in the 10th inning on an error by Colby Rasmus. If Gordon can inch his current .308 on-base percentage to last season's .341, he'd give the highly potent trio of Jean Segura, Mitch Haniger and Nelson Cruz that typically follows him in the order even more RBI opportunities.

Gordon went 2-for-5 with a two-run single and a stolen base in a win over the Orioles on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
The productive leadoff man saw his 10-game hitting streak snapped on Sunday, but he was right back to filling out the box score Monday. Gordon has demonstrated a penchant for timely hitting recently as well, parlaying eight hits into seven RBI over his last six games.

Gordon went 2-for-4 with two runs and a walk in a loss to the Red Sox on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Gordon has now hit safely in 10 straight games, a stretch that's boosted his average 19 points to .294. The veteran has five multi-hit efforts during that stretch, although he's logged just one extra-base hit, a double on June 19. Nevertheless, Gordon is serving as the disruptive presence at the top of the order the Mariners hoped for when they acquired him, and he's essentially made a seamless transition back to his old second base role in the wake of Robinson Cano's hand injury and 80-game suspension.

Gordon went 2-for-5 with a pair of RBI and a strikeout in Wednesday's loss to the Yankees.
EDGE Analysis
Gordon legged out an infield single to open up the game, then drove home a run on a single to right in the fourth. His 19 stolen bases lead the American League, and his batting average is starting to inch back up to .300 thanks in part to his current eight-game hitting streak in which he's hitting an even .400 (14-for-35).

Gordon went 3-for-5 in a loss to the Red Sox on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Gordon is in the midst of one of his better stretches at the plate this season, as he's hitting .423 during what is now a six-game hitting streak. The versatile speedster is serving as an excellent table-setter at the top of the order ahead of the likes of Jean Segura, Mitch Haniger and Nelson Cruz, and he's provided some decent pop himself with 14 extra-base hits (11 doubles, two triples and one home run) over his first 62 games.

Gordon went 2-for-3 and was caught stealing on his only attempt in a loss to the Red Sox on Thursday. He's now 6-for-15 with two runs over his last three games overall.
EDGE Analysis
The mini-surge has quickly boosted Gordon's average 11 points to .286 after a recent multi-game slump. It was recently revealed by general manager Jerry Dipoto that Gordon won't necessarily have to endure yet another position switch back to the outfield when Robinson Cano (hand, suspension) makes his expected mid-August return, although the need to still afford the latter -- who wouldn't be eligible for postseason play under the terms of his current suspension -- some playing time down the stretch might result in Gordon getting some occasional time off in anticipation of a playoff run.
