Robertson (shoulder) gave two runs (both unearned) in his last appearance Friday against the Orioles.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander had been dealing with some shoulder soreness, though the Yankees deemed him healthy enough to make an appearance Friday. Though the home run was unfortunate for the team, the fact that Robertson didn't allow an earned run meant that his ERA dropped to 3.05 on the season. Now that he's healthy, he's expected to be part of a closer committee with Zach Britton and Dellin Betances while Aroldis Chapman (knee) is sidelined.

Robertson (shoulder) is doing better but likely remains unavailable Wednesday, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports, but he'll form part of a temporary closer in the absence of Aroldis Chapman (knee) when healthy, according to Jack Curry of YES Network.
EDGE Analysis
The length of Chapman's absence won't be known until after he undergoes an MRI, but until he returns, Robertson, Dellin Betances and Zach Britton are expected to split save opportunities. That could mean Britton getting the call when a run of lefties is up with Betances and Robertson battling for opportunities against righties. Betances has posted a stellar 0.82 ERA with a 19:1 K:BB since the All-Star break, though Robertson's 3.18 ERA and 16:4 K:BB are perfectly adequate, and he also has more closing experience, with 135 career saves compared to 32 for his teammate.

Robertson was unavailable to pitch in Tuesday's game against the Marlins due to a sore right shoulder, Marc Carig of The Athletic New York reports.
EDGE Analysis
The extra-inning affair may have provided a save chance for Robertson with closer Aroldis Chapman exiting the 12th inning with a knee injury, but Robertson's shoulder has been tender for a few days. The Yankees don't seem overly concerned about the right-hander, which could prove significant if Chapman is forced to miss any time. Robertson's availability for Wednesday's game remains unclear, but Thursday's scheduled off day provides a chance for some additional rest if the team opts to remain cautious.

Robertson earned his first save of the season Saturday against Cleveland, throwing one scoreless inning with a pair of strikeouts and one hit allowed.
EDGE Analysis
Robertson came into the game with a three-run lead in the ninth inning after closer Aroldis Chapman was used on each of the last two days. He got in little trouble other than a one-out double to Edwin Encarnacion. He now has a 21:3 K:BB in 17.1 innings and a 3.12 ERA. The veteran is one of the more steady setup men in the league, though it will likely take an injury to Aroldis Chapman for him to get regular save opportunities.

Robertson (0-1) struck out one and allowed a hit in one inning of work during Sunday's 5-1 win over the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
Robertson got the ball in the eighth, and he fired 10 of his 14 pitches for strikes while only giving up a poke single to Teoscar Hernandez. The 33-year-old has now allowed just one earned run over his last eight appearances, and he has 14 strikeouts compared to just two walks in that span.

Robertson (0-1) gave up four runs on three hits and a walk over one inning in Sunday's loss to the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
Robertson's second appearance of the year was tough, as Justin Smoak hit a go-ahead grand slam off the righty in the bottom of the eighth inning. Robertson will likely continue seeing high-leverage situations over the course of the season, but the Yankees' depth of relievers could give him little room for error if his struggles continue.

Robertson (illness) took the mound for his Grapefruit League debut against the Mets on Saturday, Erik Boland of Newsday Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Robertson dealt with a bout of food poisoning that left him sidelined for the past week. The reliever was able to toss a simulated game earlier this week and should be operating at full capacity heading into the final couple weeks of spring camp.

Robertson hopes to see spring action soon, but is currently dealing with an episode of food poisoning, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Robertson is on track to throw a simulated game Tuesday, and should be ready for spring action in the days following that. The recent time on the shelf shouldn't affect his fantasy outlook heading into the 2018 campaign, where he should be a steady source of holds as a late-inning relief option.

Robertson worked around a hit to pitch a shutout eighth inning in Saturday's win over the Red Sox, striking out one.
EDGE Analysis
There was some thought when Aroldis Chapman was removed from the closer role in mid-August that Robertson could be in line to take over the ninth inning, and while that still could hold true on occasion, Dellin Betances has seen every save opportunity since then. Robertson has still been very effective when called upon though, and remains a solid source of strikeouts.

Robertson could get some save chances going forward, as Aroldis Chapman was officially removed from the closer's role Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
The Yankees have not specified who will get saves, but Dellin Betances and Robertson figure to be the top two options. Betances is likely owned in roto leagues, but Robertson may be out on waivers, and is worth an add, especially for owners chasing saves in deeper leagues.
