Robertson (elbow) has yet to be cleared to throw, Scott Lauber of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Robertson has already been out over two weeks with a right flexor strain. The issue was considered Grade 1, but it doesn't sound as though he's particularly close to returning.

Robertson was diagnosed with a Grade 1 flexor strain in his right elbow Tuesday, Matt Breen of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Robertson landed on the 10-day injured list Monday with what was originally described as elbow soreness, but was clarified via an MRI. The 34-year-old will be shut down from throwing for a few days and then will be re-evaluated by the Phillies.

Robertson was placed on the 10-day injured list Monday with right elbow soreness, Matt Breen of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
This comes as a bit of a surprise, as Robertson fired a pair of scoreless innings in Sunday's win over the Marlins. The severity of the issue remains unclear, leaving his possible return date up in the air. Drew Anderson was recalled from Triple-A Lehigh Valley to take Robertson's place in the bullpen, while Seranthony Dominguez and Hector Neris are candidates to fill in as the team's closer while the veteran right-hander is on the shelf.

Robertson pitched around a two-out single to throw a scoreless eighth inning Monday against the Nationals, striking out one batter.
EDGE Analysis
Robertson appears to be back on track after three ugly outings to start the season, not allowing any runs in any of his last three trips to the mound. Neither he nor Seranthony Dominguez has a save yet this season, with the team's first two going to Hector Neris and Pat Neshek. That's likely an indication of things to come, as manager Gabe Kapler will continue to use his most trusted relievers in high-leverage situations regardless of the inning.

Robertson pitched a clean ninth inning in Friday's 10-4 win over the Twins, allowing one hit while striking out a pair.
EDGE Analysis
After struggling in his first three appearances, Robertson finally had his first scoreless outing Friday. His season numbers are still quite ugly, with a 12.00 ERA, a 3.67 WHIP, and a 3:5 K:BB, but it's possible that he's now figured things out. The veteran threw just 3.2 Grapefruit League innings, so he may have just needed a bit of a tune-up before getting back to his typical self.

Robertson (0-1) took the loss in Wednesday's 9-8 game against the Nationals as he gave up a hit and three walks while not recording an out.
EDGE Analysis
Robertson's season has gotten off to a disastrous start as he has allowed four runs over two innings, and has given up at least one run in each of his three appearances. Wednesday's performance was especially unsightly, as he served up a leadoff single before walking the next three hitters to end the game. The 33-year-old will need to straighten things out if he is going to get regular save chances for the Phillies.

Called on to protect a four-run lead in the ninth inning, Robertson gave up two runs on two hits and one walk over his inning of work.
EDGE Analysis
Robertson permitted a two-run home run to Charlie Culberson -- but finished out the game without further damage to preserve an 8-6 win over the Braves Saturday. The 33-year-old has given up three earned runs in his first two appearances of the season, and will need to improve in order to get regular save chances.

Robertson allowed a run on two hits and a walk in Thursday's win over the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
Robertson may still need a bit of a tune up after throwing just 3.2 innings in spring training. He was poor in his first outing in Philadelphia, walking Josh Donaldson and allowing singles to Freddie Freeman and Ronald Acuna before getting his first out. It's potentially significant that he threw with a seven-run lead while Seranthony Dominguez remained in the bullpen, but with an off day Friday the Phillies may have simply been trying to let him get some work in.

Robertson has thrown just two innings so far in camp, allowing one solo homer and striking out three batters.
EDGE Analysis
Robertson signed well before camp, so his light workload is probably just a case of a veteran knowing what he needs to do to get ready for the season. Robertson's role with his new team remains unclear. The Phillies have said he won't be a traditional closer, but manager Gabe Kapler did have a preferred man for the ninth inning for stretches of last season. The veteran would be an obvious candidate should the Phillies choose anyone for the job due to his 2.88 career ERA and 137 career saves.

Robertson, who signed a two-year, $23 million deal with the Phillies on Thursday, is not expected to be used as a traditional closer in 2019, Matt Breen of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Instead, it sounds like the Phillies will use the veteran reliever in a more versatile high-leverage relief role, which suggests manager Gabe Kapler could once again mix and match in the ninth-inning (rather than settle on one closer) in order to leverage matchups. While Robertson could still possibly emerge as the primary closer at some point in 2019, he's worth considering in mixed-leagues even without a full-time closer gig given his strong ratios and impressive strikeout rate (3.23 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 11.8 K/9 across 69.2 innings in 2018).
