Hale (hamstring) allowed a run on three hits in 1.2 innings in his sporing debut Monday. He also walked a batter and struck out another.
EDGE Analysis
After pitching in a "B" game Thursday, Hale felt healthy enough to pitch in a real game. Although the results weren't great, he appeared to be healthy and ready to continue pitching during camp. This is a good sign going forward, although the injury may have jeopardized his ability to garner a roster spot. He has a few more opportunities to impress the Rockies brass, but he has an uphill battle going forward after missing some time this spring.

Hale (hamstring) pitched 1.2 scoreless innings in a "B" game Thursday, allowing one hit while striking out one batter and walking another.
EDGE Analysis
This is the first time Hale has been able to appear in a game situation since pulling his hamstring in late February. It's unclear what the next step in his recovery is, but he could appear in a major league spring training game sometime soon as long as his hamstring is feeling good in the days following the outing.

Hale pulled a hamstring Saturday, Nick Groke of the Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
The team went ahead and lifted Hale from his live batting practice session. Hale took a step forward with his control last year, but simply allows too much contact to make it as much more than a long reliever/spot starter.

Hale got the start on Thursday and allowed four runs on six hits and two walks across five innings in a no-decision against the Diamondbacks. He truck out three.
EDGE Analysis
Hale is simply not a very good pitcher and that proved to be the case yet again here. He noe maintains a 6.09 ERA and 1.47 WHIP in 12 starts this season. He is simply a stop-gap pitcher for the Rockies and he may have trouble finding an opening day roster come next year.

Hale (5-5) gave up a single run on five hits and two walks while striking out four over five innings in Friday's win over the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
Friday was arguably Hale's best outing of the season though, given his 7.38 ERA and 1.69 WHIP over his prior 11 appearances, the bar was not set too high. The young right-hander has disappointed mightily this season after showing some promise in Atlanta in 2014.

Hale will get the start Friday against the Dodgers, Nick Groke of the Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hale has struggled this season, posting a 6.32 ERA and 1.46 WHIP in 68.1 innings this season, but with Yohan Flande set to miss his next start, Hale will get another audition for next year's starting rotation, this time against the Dodgers.

Hale tossed three innings in relief, allowing three earned runs on three hits and a walk while striking out three in Saturday's 7-2 loss to the Mariners.
EDGE Analysis
Hale promptly picked up where starter Yohan Flande left off, giving up home runs to the heart of Seattle's lineup. Acquired from Atlanta over the off-season, Hale was expected to stick in Colorado's rotation only for injury and poor performance to derail his season. With dreadful numbers in the majors and Triple-A Albuquerque, Hale will need a complete turn-around in 2016 to gain fantasy relevance.

Hale (groin) was placed on the 15-day DL on Friday, Patrick Saunders of the Denver Post reports.
Heavy rain in Colorado on Thursday led to a long delay and an abbreviated outing for Kyle Kendrick, and Hale was called upon to provide the Rockies with some length when play resumed. He only made it 1.2 innings, though, as a groin strain forced him off the hill and has now sent him to the DL. The strain has been deemed "mild," though it's uncertain if Hale will be ready to return when first eligible.

The Rockies announced that Hale left Thursday's outing with a mild left groin strain.
Hale, who was Friday's scheduled starter, came on in long relief Thursday after a two hour rain delay. It remains to be seen whether Hale will require a stint on the DL, but he'll have time to rest the injury over the All-Star break.
