Hale was designated for assignment by the Yankees on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Hale was designated for assignment after the Yankees made a trade for right-hander A.J. Cole from the Nationals. The 30-year-old's contract was selected from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Sunday, but he failed to make an appearance before New York made the move.

The Yankees selected Hale's contract from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Hale had started three games for the Triple-A club, posting a 5.52 ERA and 1.69 WHIP in 14.2 innings. He'll work in long relief for the Yankees and likely won't be in store for an extended stay on the 40-man roster.

Hale agreed to a minor-league contract with the Yankees on Wednesday, Chris Cotillo of SB Nation reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hale spent a majority of the 2017 season with Triple-A Oklahoma City within the Dodgers' system, posting a 4.27 ERA and 1.36 WHIP with a 39:7 K:BB over nine starts (55.2 innings). He will likely serve as organizational depth for the Yankees moving forward, as he's appeared in just two major-league games the past two seasons.

Hale signed a minor-league contract with the Dodgers on Tuesday, David O'Brien of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
EDGE Analysis
After the Braves granted Hale his release during spring training, it took a few weeks for the right-hander to find work, but it looks like he's finally settled in with a new organization. He'll likely work as a depth arm out of the bullpen at Triple-A Oklahoma City, but given the Dodgers wealth of arms at every rung of the organizational ladder, Hale won't have an easy path back to the big leagues, especially after turning in a 5.84 ERA in 94 innings at the Triple-A level in 2016.

The Orioles have outrighted Hale to Triple-A Norfolk, Roch Kubatko of MASNsports.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
After being claimed by Baltimore back in late April, the 28-year-old owns a 5.11 ERA in 44 innings this year with Triple-A Norfolk. Hale has not made an appearance with the Orioles big-league club so far in 2016. This move will open up a spot for the Orioles on their 40-man roster.

Hale was claimed off waivers by the Orioles on Monday and was optioned to Triple-A Norfolk.
EDGE Analysis
Hale was designated for assignment by the Rockies on Friday, and it appears he was intriguing enough to Baltimore to warrant a waiver claim. The right-hander was anything but impressive in two appearances with the Rockies this season, but if he can crack the major league roster at some point this season, leaving the hitter-friendly Coors Field would certainly help out his value.

Hale was designated for assignment by the Rockies on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
He didn't fare well in his first appearance of the season last weekend, allowing three runs on three hits and two walks over 1.2 innings. The door for Hale to become a major league starter was already closed, and it seems the Rockies ruled out the possibility of him developing into a useful bullpen option. Hale will now be subjected to waivers.

Hale was recalled from Triple-A Albuquerque on Saturday, Patrick Saunders of the Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hale will come up for the first time this season to take the roster spot of Nick Hundley, who was placed on the 7-day concussion DL on Saturday. The 25-year-old has allowed five hits and one earned run in two starts (6.0 innings) at Triple-A this season.

Hale was optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Hale was competing for the fifth starter spot in Colorado with Jon Gray (abdomen) out, but the team will apparently go with a competition between Christian Bergman, Yohan Flande, and Chris Rusin. Hale had a spring training to forget, suffering through a hamstring injury then throwing a mediocre 1.2 innings in his debut. Hale will head to Albuquerque and serve as depth for the Rockies.

Hale could be the No. 5 starter to begin the season now that Jon Gray (abdomen) will not be ready for the start of the season, Patrick Saunders of the Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Other candidates for the last rotation spot include right-hander Christian Bergman and left-handers Yohan Flande and Chris Rusin (finger), although Rusin will not be ready for the beginning of the season either. Colorado has also not ruled out the possibility of using a four-man rotation at first given that they have two off days in the first week of the regular season. Hale was hampered by a hamstring injury this spring and wasn't very impressive in his lone spring appearance, but he could be in line for the rotation spot if the Rockies elect to keep Bergman in the bullpen and don't want to sacrifice a 40-man roster spot so that Flande can take Gray's spot.
