Robertson (knee) went 1-for-4 with an RBI single and a walk in Triple-A Durham's win over Gwinnett on Monday while playing all nine innings at shortstop.
EDGE Analysis
It was the third straight full game for Robertson in the field, lending credence to the notion he'll be ready for activation when first eligible Tuesday. The 25-year-old utility man will be a welcome returnee to a big-league roster due to his positional versatility and the fact the infield is currently down one regular in Yandy Diaz (foot).

EDGE Analysis
It was a momentous night for Robertson all the way around, blasting the first homer of his rehab assignment in his first game with the Bulls while also accomplishing his goal of playing a full game at shortstop. Robertson was pulled in the top of the 10th inning so as to presumably avoid overexertion on his recovering knee, but his overall outlook is increasingly bright after Saturday's developments.

Robertson (knee) could start a rehab assignment within the next week, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Robertson has made quick progress recovering from a June 24 arthroscopic surgery on his right knee. The nearing rehab assignment means that the second baseman could possibly return to the majors in late July and give the Rays some much-needed infield depth. Prior to the injury, Robertson was slashing .202/.311/.281 with two home runs, 22 runs and 15 RBI in 59 games.

The Rays officially placed Robertson (knee) on the 10-day injured list Saturday, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
As was reported after the Rays' victory over the Athletics on Friday, Robertson will be shut down through at least June 30 while he works back from right knee inflammation. Tampa Bay selected infielder Michael Brosseau's contract from Triple-A Durham so Robertson's spot on the active roster could get filled.
