Robertson is hitting .313 (5-for-16) with a double, an RBI, three walks and three runs across his first eight Grapefruit League games.
EDGE Analysis
Robertson is playing on a one-year contract in 2020 and is looking to cement a utility spot this spring, although he faces formidable competition from Joey Wendle and Mike Brosseau, both of whom are having solid camps as well. The 25-year-old saw a major statistical downturn at the plate last season (.213/.312/.295 across 237 plate appearances), but he continued to flash considerable defensive versatility by serving as an above-average glove at second base, third base and shortstop. The battle for the utility role may ultimately come down to the final days of the Grapefruit League slate.

Robertson and the Rays agreed to a one-year, $1.025 million deal Friday, avoiding arbitration, Mark Feinsand of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Robertson struggled with injury and underperformance last season. In 74 big-league games, he managed just two homers while posting a poor .213/.312/.295 slash line.

Robertson failed to make the Rays' ALDS roster.
EDGE Analysis
Robertson made the wild-card squad against lefty Sean Manaea, but the Rays will carry more left-handed bats against a righty-heavy Astros rotation. Willy Adames, Yandy Diaz and Matt Duffy are the team's only right-handed infielders.

Robertson is on the Rays' wild-card roster.
EDGE Analysis
The Rays have a number of decent infielders and can construct their postseason roster in a number of different ways. Robertson makes the cut with a deep bench for the one-game playoff but may not be on the squad if the Rays qualify for the ALDS.

Robertson went 1-for-3 with a two-run triple in a win over the Blue Jays on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Robertson's second-inning three-bagger plated Kevin Kiermaier and Willy Adames to erase an early 2-1 deficit, affording the Rays a lead they wouldn't relinquish the rest of the way. The 25-year-old utility man has four RBI over the last two games with the help of a pair of extra-base hits, his first two since returning from Triple-A Durham on Sept. 1.

Robertson went 2-for-4 with a run-scoring single and an RBI double in a win over the Blue Jays on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Robertson made noise out of the bottom of the order with his pair of timely hits, and his ninth-inning single that plated Kevin Kiermaier gave the Rays some breathing room by extending their lead to 5-3. Robertson has appeared in four games since returning from Triple-A Durham earlier in the month, going 3-for-8 over that stretch.

Robertson was recalled from Triple-A Durham on Sunday, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Robertson's bat had experienced a resurgence over the last five games with the Bulls, as the utility man had gone 10-for-21 heading into Saturday. Robertson will serve as a late-inning defensive option for manager Kevin Cash and could draw occasional starts versus left-handed pitchers in September.

Robertson is 10-for-21 with three walks, three RBI and three runs over his last five games with Triple-A Durham.
EDGE Analysis
Robertson seems to have snapped out of the doldrums that plagued him earlier in August, with his recent surge pushing his line with the Bulls to a respectable .260/.374/.327 over 28 games. Robertson's positional versatility is expected to earn him a callup when rosters expand Sunday, and he'll apparently make a return to the big leagues with some offensive momentum.

Robertson is slashing just .205/.327/.277 across 23 games with Triple-A Durham since being optioned to the Bulls on July 30.
EDGE Analysis
The 25-year-old's struggles at the big-league level this season (.202/.311/.281) helped lead to his demotion to the Bulls after his activation from the injured list at the end of July. Robertson has had his moments at the plate during August -- he generated four straight two-hit tallies as part of a five-game hitting streak earlier in the month -- but he's subsequently gone 1-for-23 over the last seven games. Robertson's considerable positional versatility could lead to a majors return in September when rosters expand, but it would be helpful if he was able to build some momentum with the bat prior to that unfolding.

Robertson (knee) was activated off the 10-day injured list and optioned to Triple-A Durham on Tuesday, Neil Solondz of the Rays Radio Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Robertson hadn't been particularly effective prior to landing on the injured list in late June, hitting .202/.311/.281 in 59 games. His positional versatility remains useful, but the Rays have a number of similar players and added another one on Sunday with their trade for Eric Sogard. It may take an injury to open up a spot for Robertson to return.
