Palka is out of the lineup Sunday against the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
Palka had started at designated hitter or in right field the past four games, recording just one hit (a home run) over that span. Until he finds consistent success at the plate, Palka looks like he'll have to battle Trayce Thompson for an everyday spot in the White Sox lineup while Avisail Garcia (hamstring) remains on the 10-day disabled list.

Palka started in right field Wednesday and went 0-for-4 in a 3-2 loss to the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
Palka had a two-start stretch earlier this week when he had six hits in seven at-bats, but fell back to earth hard Wednesday. He grounded into two double plays and grounded out meekly in his other two at-bats. He's sharing time in right field with Trayce Thompson while Avisail Garcia tends to his balky hamstring. General manager Rick Hahn said Garcia is a few weeks away from returning, so the Palka/Thompson platoon will soldier on.

Palka went 2-for-2 with a double, a triple and two RBI in Sunday's 5-4 loss to the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
One day after smacking his first career home run, Palka notched the first triple of his career. He now has six hits and five RBI over the last two games. He's splitting time with Trayce Thompson in right field while Avisail Garcia recovers from a hamstring injury, with Thompson getting most of the at-bats. That could change based on Palka's suddenly hot bat and lead to him being strong side of a platoon until Garcia returns.

Palka went 4-for-5 with a home run, three RBI and three runs scored in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
He's sitting in favor of Trayce Thompson for the nightcap after starting in right field and batting seventh in Game 1. Palka showed quite a bit of pop in the Twins' farm system before being claimed off waivers by Chicago, hitting 29 homers in 2015 and 34 across two stops in 2016. It's possible he could settle into a strong-side platoon role in right with Avisail Garcia on the DL with a hamstring strain.

Palka started at designated hitter and went 0-for-4 with an RBI in Wednesday's 4-3 loss to the Mariners.
EDGE Analysis
Palka, who made his MLB debut Wednesday, was recently called up from Triple-A Charlotte to take the roster spot made available when the White Sox placed right fielder Avisail Garcia (hamstring) on the disabled list. For now, manager Rick Renteria is using Trayce Thompson as Garcia's replacement in right field, but he's gone hitless in two games as a fill in. We expect Palka, who has a track record of power in the minors, to get some opportunities in right field while Garcia is sidelined.

Palka was called up to the majors Tuesday to replaced the injured Avisail Garcia (hamstring).
EDGE Analysis
Palka is hitting .286/.384/.476 through 17 games for Triple-A Charlotte so far this season. A third-round pick by Arizona in the 2013 draft, the 26-year-old has yet to make his major-league debut. He'll provide depth at both corner outfield positions while he remains in the big leagues.

Palka was claimed off waivers by the White Sox on Friday, Darren Wolfson of 1500 ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Palka was recently placed on outright waivers by the Twins as they trimmed down to a 40-man roster. The White Sox, however, appear to like the upside of 26-year-old outfielder and will claim him off waivers. With Triple-A Rochester this past season, Palka batted .274 with 91 hits, 11 home runs and 42 RBI's across 362 plate appearances.

Palka (finger) was activated Sunday from Triple-A Rochester's 7-day disabled list.
EDGE Analysis
Palka had been sidelined for Rochester's last 56 games with a fractured left index finger, but he appears to be good to go following a six-game rehab assignment with the Twins' rookie-level Gulf Coast League squad. In order to make room for Palka on the active roster, Rochester placed Ryan Strausbourger (foot) on the DL. Palka was batting .261 with eight home runs in 171 plate appearances at Triple-A prior to suffering the injury.

Palka (finger) went 0-for-3 during a rehab game with the Twins' rookie-level Gulf Coast League club Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
The outfielder, who has been on the 7-day disabled list at Triple-A Rochester since late May with a fractured left index finger, will likely require several games with the Twins' lower-level affiliates before being activated. The 25-year-old was slashing .261/.316/.452 with Rochester prior to suffering the injury and could be a candidate to get his first taste of the big leagues when rosters expand in September.

Palka has a fractured left index finger.
EDGE Analysis
It's unclear when or how Palka sustained the injury, but it appears he will be sidelined for an extended time. A timetable for his return should become available as he progresses in his recovery.
