The Nationals have had internal discussions about Daniel Murphy and Asdrubal Cabrera but no deal appears close, according to FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal. The Nats are in need of an infielder with Ryan Zimmerman out for most of the rest of the regular season, and both Murphy and Cabrera would allow Anthony Rendon to remain at third base while pushing Danny Espinosa back to a bench role.
