No word on the exact nature of the injury, but Gentry has dealt with shoulder and wrist injuries in the past. Julio Borbon could have a clear path to the starting center field job if he is forced to miss an extended period of time.

Craig Gentry will start in center field for Game 6 of the World Series against the Cardinals on Thursday night.
As expected against the left-hander Jaime Garcia. Gentry will start in center and bat eighth while Josh Hamilton slides over to left field. Also of note, Mike Napoli will move to the seventh spot in the lineup and Michael Young will start at first base without the presence of the DH. David Murphy and Mitch Moreland are on the bench.

Gentry will get the nod against the left-hander Jaime Garcia, just like he did in Game 2. Josh Hamilton will slide from center field to left, which means David Murphy will be on the bench.
