Ray went 13-for-38 (.342) with two home runs, five RBI, and three stolen bases over his last 10 games with High-A Carolina.
EDGE Analysis
Ray struggled at the plate for most of July, but he started to heat up later in the month and has carried that over to August. Ray's prospect status has taken a hit this year, but a strong finish to the campaign would help him til the arrow back upward heading into the offseason.

Ray, 22, is slashing .262/.339/.404 with four home runs, 29 RBI and 18 steals through 55 games at High-A Carolina.
EDGE Analysis
Strikeouts are a red flag for Ray, as the speedy outfielder has fanned 80 times in those 55 contests. He has also been thrown out seven times on the base paths. Ray has significant upside, but it is clear it will take some time for him to refine his skills.

Ray is hitting .250/.333/.370 with 11 doubles, 15 RBI, and eight steals through 26 games with High-A Carolina.
EDGE Analysis
Ray missed just over a week of action early this season while recovering from a knee injury, but he has played nearly every day since his April 16 debut. He has not homered, but he is producing in other categories, and his OPS sits at .704 after reaching base five times in Carolina's May 16 contest. Ray is one of the most highly-regarded prospects both in the Brewers' system and all of MLB, but he is taking part in his his first full professional season in 2017, so don't expect much advancement in level, if any, this year.

Ray (knee) was assigned to High-A Carolina on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Ray, the Brewers' top overall pick in the 2016 First-Year Player Draft, was slowed by a knee injury during camp, prompting the team to hold him back at extended spring training for a few extra weeks. Now that the outfielder has gotten sufficient reps in and is back to full speed, he'll play in games at High-A and look for better results after slashing just .247/.307/.385 over 254 plate appearances at the level last summer.

Ray (knee) will be held back in extended spring training before being assigned to an affiliate, MLB.com's Adam McCalvy reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ray did not suffer a setback, and returned to game action with a week to go in spring training, but the team just wanted to give him a little more time before sending him to High-A or Double-A. He was one of the most impressive Brewers prospects in camp this spring, and his dynasty league stock is trending up, despite the knee injury.

Ray (knee) was cleared to return to game action Friday, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ray has been recovering from meniscus surgery this offseason and slated to begin the season in the lower levels of the Brewers' farm system. The 2016 first-round draft pick will look to continue sharpening his skill set upon his return.

Ray (knee) was reassigned to minor-league camp Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
The first-round draft pick is still recovering from offseason knee surgery, so this move comes as no surprise. Ray should start the year in the lower levels of the minors with the chance to advance to Double-A by the end of the season if his performance warrants it.

Ray (knee) has been cleared for running, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is a great step for Ray as he recovers from meniscus surgery this offseason. The Brewers won't push their first-round pick back into action too quickly; he's expected to continue his professional development in the minors this coming season.

Ray (knee) will be restricted in camp while recovering from knee surgery, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
While it was possible he would be ready to go for spring training, the Brewers are taking it easy with the first-rounder. He underwent knee surgery for a torn meniscus last October, and he will be restricted throughout his first spring training.

Ray underwent surgery Wednesday to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
The first-rounder injured his knee sliding in a game. This injury comes at an unfortunate time for Ray, as the Brewers' instructional league had only just begun. There's currently no timetable for his return, although he does have a chance to be 100 percent by the time spring training rolls around. The top prospect is expected to stay at the Brewers' facilities in Maryvale, Arizona for the time being so that the medical staff can monitor his recovery.
