Kluber tossed a complete game and struck out eight en route to his 14th win of the season Saturday. After making mechanical tweaks in between start, Kluber got back on a track in a big way Saturday. The White Sox could only muster an unearned run against him in what turned out to be a complete game, five-hitter for the right-hander. Kluber will face the Twins at Progressive Field on Thursday in his next scheduled start.

The Indians are hopeful that some tweaks to Kluber's mechanics may help explain his recent struggles, MLB.com reports. Kluber's allowed 11 runs (eight earned) on 22 hits over 16 innings in his last three starts after a dominant stretch in his previous ten starts. Kluber's already pitched a career-high 195.1 innings this season and the Indians will need him to be excellent down the stretch as they try and claw their way back into the playoff picture.

Kluber lost Monday against the Tigers as he pitched 2.2 innings and allowed five runs, seven hits and two walks to go along with two strikeouts. Kluber had allowed three runs or less in his last eight starts entering Monday, so this kind of performance is clearly more of an aberration instead of the norm. He has been spectacular overall this season as he is 13-9 with a 2.72 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 215 strikeouts.

Kluber gave up three runs on nine hits over 6.1 innings Wednesday against the White Sox. Most of the damage came from the top of the White Sox's lineup, as Jose Abreu, Adam Dunn and Adam Eaton combined for four extra-base hits against the Cleveland right-hander. Kluber generated 25 swinging strikes on 118 pitches, and avoided the damage of long balls in a tough road spot Wednesday. He's lined up for two home starts next week, facing the Tigers on Monday before a second start Saturday (September 6) against the White Sox.

Kluber took the loss Thursday against Minnesota, giving up three runs on six hits and four walks while striking out eight. Kluber ran into trouble in the sixth where a pair of RBI doubles put the Twins up for good. Kluber did surpass 200 strikeouts for the season, now sitting at 205 with a 2.46 ERA and 1.08 WHIP.

Kluber's next start will be pushed back one day to Thursday. There's nothing wrong with Kluber - the Indians just wanted to give him one extra day of rest before the final stretch run.

Kluber was on top of his game again Friday night, allowing just one run on five hits, walking two and striking out 10 over 7.2 innings, but came away with a no-decision against the Orioles. The run he allowed was just the second he's given up over his last five starts - a span of 39 innings. Unfortunately, Kluber's mound opponent Wei-Yin Chen matched him pretty much pitch-for-pitch as the game would eventually go into extra innings. He's likely to the Twins in Minnesota next time out.

Kluber fanned 10 over six shutout innings Saturday, giving up just four hits and a walk against the Yankees. Kluber's owners have become incredibly spoiled of late, and were probably surprised to see the Indians' ace only go six innings Saturday. He didn't allow a hit until the fourth inning en route to his 13th win. Nobody in baseball is on a more dominant roll than the Klubot, who has given up just one run over his last four starts (31.1 innings). He is averaging nine strikeouts per start over his last five outings and will look to remain untouchable in his next start Friday against the Orioles.

Kluber pitched well in a win Monday night, holding the Reds to one run in 7.1 innings of work. Kluber struck out seven and walked two en route to his 12th win of the season. The breakout righty has won five consecutive decisions as he continues to dominate every lineup he opposes. He'll take on the Yankees this weekend.

Corey Kluber notched his first career shutout, limiting the Mariners to just three singles over nine innings in a win on Wednesday. Kluber appeared to have the unfortunate draw of going up against King Felix, but it was the other way around. In his previous start, the talented Indians right-hander allowed only one run to the Royals and followed it up with Wednesday's gem, in which he did not allow a walk and struck out eight. Kluber, now 11-6 with a 2.61 ERA and a 170/33 K/BB ratio, will go for a third consecutive complete game on Monday at home against the Reds.
