Kluber (8-14) made his return from the disabled list on Thursday, as he allowed three runs (two earned) on five hits across just four innings in a losing effort against the Royals. He struck out five in the game.
EDGE Analysis
Kluber made just 61 pitches in his return and it's no surprise as he had no rehab starts after suffering a hamstring injury a couple of weeks ago. The record and 3.44 ERA are unfair to the reigning Cy Young winner as all of his peripherals are still elite. The strikeout rate, walk rate, and WHIP are on par with his Cy Young season and the only major difference is the ERA. Kluber is a fantastic bet to bounce back next season and will likely be a nice value on draft day.

Kluber (hamstring) has been confirmed as the starting pitcher for Thursday's game against the Royals, MLB.com's Jordan Bastian reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kluber has not started since Aug. 29 due to a hamstring injury, but he will get back on the mound Thursday night. He is 1-3 with a 4.34 ERA and 27:6 K:BB ratio in 29 innings over four starts against the Royals this season.

Kluber (hamstring) has been cleared by the Indians' medical staff to start Thursday's game, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kluber threw a successful bullpen session Friday and was cleared Tuesday after completing fielding drills. He'll make his first start since August 29 on Thursday against the Royals, a team he's faced four times this season. In his last outing against Kansas City, Kluber pitched a complete game five-hitter, allowing just one earned run and one walk with six strikeouts in a 12-1 Indians victory.

Kluber (hamstring) threw a bullpen session Monday and will do fielding work Tuesday.

Manager Terry Francona was not yet willing to name Corey Kluber (hamstring) as the starter for Wednesday's game, MLB.com's Jordan Bastian reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Indians need a starter for Wednesday's game following Friday's rainout, and if he is deemed healthy, Kluber would be the obvious choice. However, Francona said Kluber is still day-to-day with his sore right hamstring.

Kluber (hamstring) will throw a bullpen session Friday and meet with the team Saturday to determine a potential return date, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kluber has been out since late-August, but he's progressing well and has been throwing regularly. Assuming Friday's session goes well, he could return to the mound as early as next week as the Indians continue to chase a Wild Card spot.

Kluber (hamstring) has been throwing regularly and could return soon, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports. "My guess is that he'll be ready to pitch fairly quick," manager Terry Francona said, "just because he feels really good. Obviously, he's champing at the bit, so we'll let it run its proper course, but as soon as he's ready to pitch and allowed to pitch, we'll pitch him."
EDGE Analysis
Kluber has been sidelined since August 29 and was originally expected to miss at least 10 days. The Indians plan on sitting down with Kluber on Thursday which figures to give some further clarity on a possible return date.

Kluber (hamstring) is expected to miss at least 10 days, Paul Hoynes of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports. "We'll pitch him when he's ready," manager Terry Francona said.
EDGE Analysis
Initial reports suggested Kluber wouldn't miss much time, but it now sounds like he'll miss at least one additional start after being scratched from his scheduled outing Friday due to a hamstring strain. Josh Tomlin will fill in for Kluber on Friday against Kyle Lobstein and the Tigers. Francona said Kluber injured the hamstring during his recent bullpen session.

Kluber has been scratched from his Friday start with a right hamstring strain.
EDGE Analysis
Kluber shouldn't miss too much time, but MLB.com's Jordan Bastian is reporting he could miss another start too. Josh Tomlin will serve as a fill-in Friday and possibly in five days too.
