Kluber allowed one run on three hits while striking out eight over five innings of a no-decision Sunday against the Tigers. He also walked three.
EDGE Analysis
Kluber's run of double-digit strikeouts is officially over, as he failed to fan 10 or more batters for the first time in six starts. His early departure was likely due to a high pitch count (101, 40 of which were balls), and had he had better command of the zone, odds are he would have racked up a couple additional K's. Nevertheless, Kluber will bring a 7-3 record, 0.99 WHIP and 2.80 ERA with him to the All-Star Game in Miami this week.

Kluber was named the AL Pitcher of the Month after going 4-0 with 64 strikeouts over 43 innings in June.
EDGE Analysis
Jordan Bastian of MLB.com points out that Kluber joined Sam McDowell and Bob Feller as the only pitchers in Indians history with 64 or more strikeouts in one month. The Tribe's ace recently moved into the organizations top-10 for career strikeouts while becoming the first pitcher in franchise history to have 10-plus punch outs in five straight starts. Despite missing a month due to a back injury, Kluber's 115 strikeouts are fourth-best in the AL, and the righty's 2.85 ERA and 0.97 WHIP place fourth and second, respectively, in the league. He looks primed for a strong second half to say the least.

Kluber (7-3) allowed only one run on five hits and a walk while striking out 10 over eight innings in Tuesday's 1-0 loss to the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander set a new Cleveland franchise record with his fifth straight double-digit strikeout start, breaking the mark of four straight held by Bob Feller since 1939. Kluber also became the seventh right-hander since the deadball era to accomplish the feat, joining an illustrious group of fireballers alongside Nolan Ryan, J.R. Richard, Dwight Gooden, Pedro Martinez, Curt Schilling and Max Scherzer. Kluber will get one more start before the All-Star break Sunday at home against the Tigers.

Kluber gave up one run on three hits and one walk while striking out 12 over eight innings in Thursday's win over the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
The 31-year-old closed out the month of June with another dominant performance -- his fourth straight double-digit strikeout game. Kluber has been on an incredible run since returning from a month-long absence due to a back issue, posting a 1.26 ERA over six starts. After a somewhat disappointing first month (4.19 ERA in April), Kluber has put himself firmly back among the elite. In fact, this may be the best version of Kluber we've seen yet.

Kluber (6-2) allowed two unearned runs on three hits and two walks while striking out 13 across seven innings, but received no decision Saturday against the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
Kluber was the victim of limited run support, which likely kept him from earning his seventh win of the season. He's allowed just five earned runs over his last five starts to lower a 5.06 ERA to 3.24, and he's now looking like the fantasy ace he was drafted to be. He'll make his next start Thursday against the Rangers.

Kluber (6-2) struck out 11 while allowing three hits and no walks in a complete game shutout Monday against the Orioles.
EDGE Analysis
Kluber was outstanding in this one, throwing first-pitch strikes to 21 of the 30 hitters he faced while notching a season high in punchouts. He was in the strike zone at 74 percent clip and induced 12 groundball outs while not allowing a single runner past first base. The right-hander endured his share of struggles prior to a month-long injury absence, but he has posted a sharp 1.61 ERA and a stellar 39:4 K:BB to go along with a 3-0 record in four starts since returning to the rotation. Kluber is in tremendous form at the present time and will look to keep it rolling Saturday against the Twins.

Kluber struck out 10 over seven strong innings against the Dodgers on Wednesday, allowing just two runs on four hits and a walk. He didn't factor into the decision in the eventual 6-4 loss.
EDGE Analysis
Kluber has now put up three 10-strikeout games in his last five starts, albeit with a month-long DL stint in the middle there. His ERA is still an inflated 4.15, but the smart money's on Kluber bringing that number down to a more respectable level.

Kluber (5-2) allowed three runs on seven hits over six innings Friday against the White Sox, striking out eight and walking two.
EDGE Analysis
In his second start since a nearly month-long disabled list stint (back) that cost him almost all of May, Kluber didn't quite match the six shutout innings he fired June 1, but still had himself a nice night. While this start came on an abnormal seven days rest, he now has a 18:3 K:BB since his return.

Kluber (4-2) pitched six scoreless innings with 10 strikeouts during Thursday's win over Oakland. He allowed just two hits and a walk.
EDGE Analysis
Considering Kluber last toed the rubber May 2, this was an impressive outing and silences any injury concerns. The outing dropped him to a 4.36 ERA and 1.25 WHIP, and the righty sports an elite 10.6 K.9. Unfortunately, he lines up for a difficult upcoming start against the Rockies at Coors Field, so it could be difficult to followup Thursday's solid showing.

Kluber (back) was activated from the 10-day DL in advance of his scheduled start Thursday against the Athletics.
EDGE Analysis
Manager Terry Francona confirmed to media Monday that Kluber will take the hill for this start, which becomes official with Thursday's roster move. The right-hander was lights out in his rehab start Friday for Double-A Akron, throwing five shutout innings of one-hit ball to prove he's ready to return. Kluber, who posted a 5.06 ERA across six starts before landing on the DL, will square off against Jharel Cotton and the As in a home matchup.
