Frazier and prospect Justus Sheffield, along with two other players, were traded to the Yankees on Sunday in exchange for Andrew Miller, ESPN.com's Buster Olney reports.
EDGE Analysis
Frazier, the fifth overall pick in the 2013 first-year player draft, was regarded as one of the Tribe's top hitting prospects along with fellow outfielder Bradley Zimmer. He was recently promoted to the Triple-A level following a dominant stint earlier this season at Double-A Akron, during which he contributed a .276/.356/.469 slash line over 391 plate appearances. Assuming the Yankees fall out of the playoff picture, the 21-year-old is expected to spend the remainder of the season in the minors at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre before potentially contending for a starting role in the outfield in 2017.

Frazier was promoted to Triple-A Columbus on Sunday, Daren Smith of MiLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fellow top prospect Bradley Zimmer will also join Frazier in Columbus, as both players earned the promotions by torching the Double-A competition. Frazier, who represented the Indians in the All-Star Futures Game earlier this month, compiled a .276/.356/.469 line to go with 13 homers and 13 steals over 391 plate appearances with Akron. The move to Triple-A is often a temporary one for prospects of Frazier's high caliber, but with the outfield collective of Jose Ramirez, Tyler Naquin, Lonnie Chisenhall and Rajai Davis faring well this year for the Indians, not to mention the potential late-season return of Michael Brantley (back), the Tribe can take things slowly with the 21-year-old.

Frazier, 21, is batting .305/.396/.498 with eight home runs, 36 RBI and nine steals through 62 games for Double-A Akron.
EDGE Analysis
Frazier is not quite as toolsy as teammate Bradley Zimmer, but Frazier is also three years younger and has shown more of an ability to hit for average. In addition, Frazier still has double-digit potential in both home runs and stolen bases. There is still room to grow for Frazier, though he is already among the more intriguing outfield prospects in baseball.

Frazier (hamstring) was activated from the DL on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
The 21-year-old was more than holding his own in his first taste of Double-A prior to the injury, slashing .313/.400/.544 with six homers and a career-best 19.1 percent K-rate. This is quite a feat for a player with Frazier's prior contact issues facing pitchers with legitimate breaking balls for the first time. He is solidly a top-30 prospect for dynasty leagues, and could be promoted to Triple-A before the end of the season.

Frazier was placed on the 7-day DL with a right hamstring strain Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
The 21-year-old is having an excellent season at Double-A Akron, hitting .313/.400/.544 with six home runs, 21 RBI, and six stolen bases. The former first-round pick could see a promotion to Triple-A later in the season if he stays hot offensively.

Frazier his slashing .250/.307/.433 with three home runs and two steals in 104 at-bats for Double-A Akron.
EDGE Analysis
He got off to a really good start, but has stumbled a bit of late. This should not come as a surprise, nor should it come as a major concern, as aggressive young players like Frazier, 21, often struggle with the jump from High-A to Double-A. There will be ups and downs for Frazier this season, but he is still a top-50 prospect for dynasty leagues.

Frazier is slashing .258/.337/.385 with four home runs and three steals in 210 plate appearances with High-A Lynchburg. The most positive development with Frazier so far this year is that he has cut his K-rate from 29.7 percent in 2014 to 24.8 percent in 2015. While Lynchburg is a tough place to hit for power, it is pretty clear at this point that Bradley Zimmer has passed Frazier as the outfield prospect to own in the Indians' system. That actually says more about Zimmer than Frazier, who still has the tools to be a monster fantasy asset in time, it will just be several years before he gets the chance to show what he can do in the majors.
