Frazier was called up from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
The Yankees have made a slew of notable promotions over the past few days, but Frazier is the big prize. He is capable of playing all three outfield spots and brings an intriguing combination of power and speed to the table. Frazier hit .257/.345/.474 with 12 home runs, nine steals (on 11 attempts) and a respectable 68:37 K:BB in 319 plate appearances. His batting average was suppressed a little by an unlucky .291 BABIP, and he has the potential to be a five-category contributor long term. Look for him to play five or six days per week while Aaron Hicks (oblique) is on the disabled list. If Frazier finds initial success, he will likely remain in the lineup even when Hicks is activated.

Frazier will likely be called up to the majors on Saturday, Jack Curry of YES Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Nothing is official as of yet, but it looks like the Yankees will be adding their top prospect to replace the injured Dustin Fowler. He was struggling a bit to end the month of June, but Frazier still owns a .257/.345/.474 batting line with 33 extra-base hits over 73 games for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. At just 22 years old, Frazier still has significant room to grow, and his power production is already enticing. Once the roster move is officially made, be ready to pounce on the waiver wire.

Frazier, 22, is hitting just .194 with eight strikeouts over his last 10 games for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
EDGE Analysis
Frazier's stats are still respectable overall, as he is hitting .250/.340/.473 with 12 home runs, 41 RBI and nine steals. Strikeouts remain a concern, though, as he has fanned 66 times through 70 games. With Jacoby Ellsbury back healthy and Triple-A teammate Dustin Fowler also worthy of a call-up, Frazier will almost certainly spend most of this season in the minors.

Frazier is batting .250/.342/.455 with five home home runs and 22 RBI in 35 games with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
EDGE Analysis
The overall numbers are still lower than expected from the Yankees top prospect, but Frazier has been heating up of late with eight hits, a home run, and five RBI coming in his last five games. While his 32 strikeouts could use some improvement, the 22-year-old has clearly worked on his plate discipline and currently sports what would be personal-bests with a 20.3% strikeout rate and 12% walk rate. Given that there aren't really any openings with the big league club, the Yankees will likely play it as safe as possible with Frazier this year and keep him down at Triple-A for the majority, if not all, of the season.

Frazier, 22, is batting .212/.317/.423 with two home runs, eight RBI and two steals through 15 games with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
EDGE Analysis
Frazier has struggled to make contact during the early part of the 2017 campaign, fanning 14 times over those 15 contests. Barring injury or trade, he will likely spend a majority of this year at Triple-A due to a crowded Yankees outfield, which includes fellow prospect Aaron Judge. Still, Frazier has tremendous upside, combining superior bat speed with double-digit potential in home runs and stolen bases.

Frazier was reassigned to minor league camp on Friday, Brendan Kuty of The Star-Ledger reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Yankees all along have planned on Frazier starting off at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre in 2017. The potential five-category fantasy asset will try improving what amounted to an adjustment period during his debut at the level last year. He split it between the Indians and Yankees affiliates, hitting .228/.278/.396 in 108 plate appearances with the latter.

Frazier will attend the Yankees' spring training as a non-roster invitee.
EDGE Analysis
The current expectation for Frazier is that he'll work his way up to the majors in 2017, possibly in the first half of the season. Frazier has shown considerable upside at the plate, particularly in terms of power, but has repeatedly struggled with strikeouts. Because of this, he'll have to prove capable of hitting at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre before making his debut in the show. Across 25 games with New York's Triple-A affiliate in 2016, Frazier hit just .228 and posted a 28.6 percent K-rate.

Frazier (hamstring) was activated from the 7-day DL and is in the lineup Monday for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, Chad Jennings of The Journal News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Frazier had been inactive for the last week while tending to the hamstring injury, but he'll get back on the field for the Triple-A squad's regular season finale and be a mainstay in the lineup for the team's International League playoff run. Once Scranton/Wilkes-Barre is eliminated, Frazier could warrant consideration for a promotion to the Yankees, though this late in the season, the organization may not be inclined to do that as a means of delaying the outfielder's MLB service clock.

Frazier (hamstring) could return to action Monday, Shane Hennigan of the Scranton Times-Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Frazier has been sidelined the past week, but it appears he is on the verge of getting back on the field. Frazier has posted a .229/.282/.375 slash line over 24 games since joining Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre following his midseason trade to the Yankees.

Frazier was placed on the 7-day DL on Sunday with a hamstring strain, MiLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Frazier was lifted early from Saturday's contest, and the reason why has now become clear with the 21-year-old dealing with a hamstring ailment -- though the severity of the setback remains unclear. Since arriving to the Yankees organization just before the trade deadline, Frazier is hitting .229 in 24 games with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
