Frazier and prospect Justus Sheffield, along with two other players, were traded to the Yankees on Sunday in exchange for Andrew Miller, ESPN.com's Buster Olney reports.
EDGE Analysis
Frazier, the fifth overall pick in the 2013 first-year player draft, was regarded as one of the Tribe's top hitting prospects along with fellow outfielder Bradley Zimmer. He was recently promoted to the Triple-A level following a dominant stint earlier this season at Double-A Akron, during which he contributed a .276/.356/.469 slash line over 391 plate appearances. Assuming the Yankees fall out of the playoff picture, the 21-year-old is expected to spend the remainder of the season in the minors at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre before potentially contending for a starting role in the outfield in 2017.
