Tillman said he feels fine and his recent struggles have nothing to do with the shoulder soreness that caused him to open 2017 on the DL, Steve Melewski of MASN Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Since tossing five scoreless innings in his regular-season debut, Tillman has been knocked around pretty good. The right-hander owns a nasty 7.50 ERA, 2.06 WHIP and .358 BAA over his last four starts -- a span in which his average outing has lasted less than five innings. Coming off one of the best seasons of his eight-year career, Tillman simply doesn't look like himself in the early going.

Tillman (1-2) allowed five runs on seven hits and two walks across just 2.2 innings in Tuesday's loss to the Yankees. He struck out one.
EDGE Analysis
Tillman struggled to keep the ball in the yard during his short time on the mound, allowing solo home runs to Brett Gardner and Matt Holiday in the first inning before the latter repeated the feat in the third. He also put additional men on base in the second and third as he set a new season high for runs allowed, in what turned out to be his shortest outing by a wide margin. Tillman hasn't been particularly sharp since making his season debut earlier this month, posting a 5.87 ERA and a 1.87 WHIP across 23 innings across five starts. He could eventually settle in as a solid arm in the middle of the rotation, but on the heels of his last few turns it would be tough to trust him for fantasy purposes in Sunday's matchup with the Red Sox.

Tillman (1-1) allowed four runs on nine hits and two walks while striking out three batters over just five innings during Wednesday's loss to Minnesota.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran righty has now allowed 10 runs over his past 15.1 innings with just 11 strikeouts. The underwhelming stretch has him sporting a 4.43 ERA, 1.67 WHIP and 6.6 K/9 through his four starts this season. Tillman is capable of stringing together hot streaks, and toeing the rubber for a winning ball team also has value. However, he's a probably best viewed as a matchup-based option, and even then, expectations should be kept in check. Tillman has a daunting matchup against the Yankees on deck.

Tillman (1-0) allowed three runs on five hits and two walks while striking out four over six innings, but received no decision Friday against the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
Tillman gave up all three of his runs in the third inning, but the Orioles offense erased a 3-1 deficit in the bottom of the sixth inning to take him off the hook for a potential loss. He's allowed three or fewer runs in each of his three starts, and his 3.52 ERA makes him a player to consider using in weekly fantasy lineups. He'll make his next start Wednesday against the Twins.

Tillman (1-0) pitched 4.1 innings, allowing three runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out four Royals in a no-decision Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander was wildly inefficient Saturday, dealing 105 pitches (only 61 of them for strikes) without managing to escape the fifth inning. It was a stark contrast to the five scoreless frames Tillman delivered in his previous outing, and quite disappointing considering the favorable matchup. The 29-year-old will toe the rubber for his third start of the campaign Friday at home against the Blue Jays.

Tillman (1-0) pitched five scoreless innings with three hits and three walks allowed while striking out four batters during Sunday's win over the White Sox.
EDGE Analysis
The 29-year-old veteran has made at least 30 starts and returned double-digit wins in each of the past four seasons. He's also posted a serviceable 3.91 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 7.0 K/9 during that stretch with his 2016 numbers (4.99 ERA and 1.39 WHIP) inflating the stat line. Tillman grabs another soft matchup in his next start, as he lines up to face the Royals at pitcher-friendly Kauffman Stadium.

Tillman (shoulder) has been activated from the disabled list and will take the hill Sunday against the White Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Tillman will make his long-awaited 2017 debut, despite a discouraging final rehab outing in which he surrendered four long balls. Fortunately for fantasy owners, he'll square off against the light-hitting White Sox, who are in the league's bottom five with just 28 team home runs. Tillman will look to build upon a 2016 campaign where he matched his career high with 16 wins and posted a 3.77 ERA.

Tillman (shoulder) is on track to be activated from the disabled list Sunday and make his season debut against the White Sox, Dan Connolly of BaltimoreBaseball.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The long-awaited 2017 debut has finally arrived for the Orioles' ace, out since February with a shoulder injury that plagued him throughout last season. Tillman has looked less than sharp over four minor league rehab appearances -- compiling a combined 7.16 ERA and giving up seven home runs -- yet remains in line to assume a regular spot in the Baltimore rotation moving forward. It may take some time for the right-hander to get back into his groove, so expect a bit of lag from last season's solid numbers.

Tillman (shoulder) dealt 91 pitches over five innings, allowing five runs on five hits (including four home runs) and a pair of walks in Tuesday's rehab start for Triple-A Norfolk.
EDGE Analysis
Results aside, Tuesday's assignment is expected to be the right-hander's final rehab outing before being activated from the DL. Depending on how Tillman feels Wednesday and Thursday, he could be in line to make his season debut Sunday against the White Sox.

Tillman (shoulder) will start for Triple-A Charlotte on Tuesday, Roch Kubatko of MASN reports.
EDGE Analysis
While there was a possibility that Tillman would make his season debut for the Orioles on Tuesday, the 29-year-old opted for one final rehab game with Triple-A Charlotte before rejoining the big league club. If all goes well, Tillman should be ready to rejoin the Orioles' rotation sometime next week. Meanwhile, Alec Asher or Jayson Aquino should get the spot start in his place Tuesday.
