Twins president of baseball operations Derek Falvey said Friday that Paddack (forearm) could begin a throwing program soon, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Paddack has been out since July 14 due to a right forearm strain. It's going to take him a little while to get built back up, so a return before the end of August doesn't seem likely. However, Falvey expressed optimism that Paddack would be able to rejoin the Twins' rotation before the end of the season.

Paddack was placed on the 15-day injured list with a right forearm strain Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Paddack last pitched Sunday against the Giants, surrendering two runs (one earned) over five innings, potentially picking up a forearm injury in the process. The right-hander could be set for an extended absence as a result of the injury being to his throwing arm, but only time will tell. It's unclear who will replace Paddack in Minnesota's starting rotation, but in the meantime, Austin Martin (oblique) was activated from the 10-day injured list Saturday, filling in the hole on the major-league roster.

Paddack allowed two runs (one earned) on five hits and a walk while striking out six over five innings in a no-decision versus the Giants on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Paddack put in another decent effort, but he couldn't match Blake Snell's seven innings of one-hit ball. Paddack has allowed four runs (three earned) over 10 innings across two starts since he returned from a bout of arm fatigue. The right-hander has a 4.99 ERA, 1.39 WHIP and 79:21 K:BB over 88.1 innings through 17 starts this season. While his results aren't great, Paddack's spot in the rotation doesn't appear to be in any immediate danger since he's stabilized his pitching following his injured-list stint.

Paddack allowed two runs on three hits and two walks while striking out three batters in a no-decision against the White Sox on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Paddack was activated from the injured list ahead of the contest after missing over two weeks due to arm fatigue. The right-hander didn't seem to have any trouble with the issue in his return, tossing 78 pitches (54 for strikes) and allowing just five baserunners. Paddack did fade a bit near the end of the outing, though, as three of those baserunners reached in his final frame of work. Assuming he came out of the start fine, Paddack is in line to make his next start in San Francisco this weekend.

The Twins activated Paddack (arm) from the 15-day injured list Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Paddack will rejoin the Twins rotation and start Monday versus the White Sox after missing the past two weeks with right arm fatigue. He didn't make a rehab start prior to being activated, so it's possible Paddack will be a little limited from a pitch count perspective Monday. Reliever Josh Winder was optioned to Triple-A St. Paul in a corresponding move.

Twins manager Rocco Baldelli said Friday that Paddack (arm) is doing well in his rehab program and is expected to start in Monday's series opener against the White Sox, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Paddack landed on the 15-day injured list June 25 due to right forearm fatigue. It's worth noting that 2024 is the 28-year-old right-hander's first full season of pitching since undergoing Tommy John surgery in May of 2022. Paddack is 5-3 over 15 starts with a 5.29 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 70:18 K:BB over 78.1 innings this season. If he does return Monday, he'll face a White Sox team that ranks 29th this season in both batting average (.221) and OPS (.632).

Paddack (right forearm fatigue) threw a bullpen session Sunday, the Bobby Nightengale of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Paddack said his arm grew fatigued in the past few weeks, which isn't uncommon for a pitcher in his first full season back from Tommy John surgery. He hopes to return just after the All-Star break, so this bullpen session could be a sign he may not be out too long.

The Twins placed Paddack on the 15-day injured list Tuesday with right forearm fatigue.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander labored in his past two outings with eight runs allowed across six innings, and he's given up at least four runs in five of his past six starts. Paddack will be sidelined for at least the next couple weeks but is without a clear timeline for return. Ronny Henriquez was recalled in a corresponding move to provide some bullpen depth for Minnesota.

Paddack allowed three runs on five hits and three walks while striking out three over 4.2 innings in a no-decision versus the Athletics on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Paddack again struggled against the Athletics, though it wasn't as bad as his last start, in which he allowed five runs over 2.1 innings. The right-hander has a poor 5.29 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 70:18 K:BB over 78.1 innings through 15 starts this season. He's projected to make his next start on the road in Arizona, though he hasn't pitched well enough to draw much positive attention in fantasy.

Paddack allowed five runs on five hits and a walk while failing to strike out a batter over 2.1 innings, taking a no-decision in Game 2 of Sunday's doubleheader versus the Athletics.
EDGE Analysis
Paddack had his shortest outing of the year after twice allowing the Athletics to counter the Twins' early offense. Over his last seven outings, Paddack has allowed four or more runs four times, but he's limited opponents to two runs or less in the other three starts in that span. He's at a 5.25 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 67:15 K:BB through 73.2 innings over 14 starts this year, so inconsistency is just part of the deal for the right-hander. He's projected to make his next start in a rematch at Oakland.
