Chris Colabello went 1-for-4 and drove home a pair of runs in Friday's loss to the White Sox.
Colabello's two-run single off John Danks in the sixth inning pulled the Twins to within 8-3, but that would be as close as they'd get. He has seen increased playing time at first base with Joe Mauer on the shelf, but remains a fringe fantasy option in all but AL-only formats.

Chris Colabello went 2-for-3 with a double, a homer and two RBI in a loss to the Yankees on Sunday.
Colabello has been producing since being recalled on July 2, collecting two doubles and two home runs in three games. It's worth noting he enjoyed a similarly hot start to the season before being demoted. The 30-year-old is hitting .245/.294/.434 overall.

Twins recalled 1B/OF Chris Colabello from Triple-A Rochester.
Colabello was optioned in late May after hitting .232/.280/.377 with four homers and 30 RBI for the big club. He batted .275/.347/.473 with six homers and 27 RBI over 36 games for Rochester to earn his way back. Colabello should see some time at first base while Joe Mauer (oblique) is out.

Twins optioned 1B Chris Colabello to Triple-A Rochester.
Colabello began the season on a tear at the plate, and has racked up 30 RBI on the season, but is hitting just .118/.151/.196 with one homer and three RBI in his last 15 games. He should be back with the Twins at some point this season.

Chris Colabello could be optioned to Triple-A Rochester before Monday's game.
Josh Willingham (wrist) and Oswaldo Arcia will be added back to the Twins' roster, and it sounds like Colabello could lose his spot. "He's not swinging very well right now," manager Ron Gardenhire said. Colabello was a great story in April when he batted .295/.343/.484 with three homers and 27 RBI, but he's been a disaster so far in May with a .125/.169/.196 batting line and 23 strikeouts over 59 plate appearances.

Chris Colabello went 0-for-5 with two strikeouts against the Red Sox on Monday and is 7-for-52 with 23 strikeouts this month.
As a result of his early barrage, Colabello is still in the top 10 in baseball with 30 RBI. However, just three of them have come in May. At this point, he looks like a weak link for the Twins, and there'd be a good case for demoting him to make room for the returning Josh Willingham.

Chris Colabello went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's loss to the Indians.
Indians starter Josh Tomlin held the Twins' offense at bay for most of the night until Colabello was able to drive a fly ball over the fence in left-center in the seventh inning. The blast marked his fourth of the season. Colabello ranks fifth in baseball with 28 RBI and is currently enjoying a productive .270/.315/.451 slash line, though it had been lowered noticeably by a recent slump.

Chris Colabello singled and struck out twice in Saturday's win over the Orioles.
Per Mike Berardino of the St. Paul Pioneer Press, the single was the first ball Colabello hit into the outfield in eight days. Including Saturday, he's hitting .100 (3-for-30) with nine strikeouts over his last seven games. Regression is a heck of a thing.

Chris Colabello went 2-for-6 with a home run and four runs batted in as the Twins beat the Rays in 12 innings on Wednesday.
Colabello had a big game, driving a two-run home run off of Jake Odorizzi in the fourth inning, and breaking a 4-4 tie in the top of the 12th with a two-run single off of Josh Lueke. Colabello, who rejected an offer to play in Korea during the off-season, has had a remarkable start to the season, currently leading the American League with 26 RBI.
