Chris Coghlan (knee) is scheduled to resume baseball activities this weekend. Coghlan was placed on the disabled list earlier this month with left knee inflammation, though the Marlins originally intended to demote him before the injury was disclosed. They could still send him to the minors once he's back to full health.

It was thought that he was dealing with a nagging shoulder injury, but apparently his knee was also an issue. He'll continue to accrue service time while on the disabled list.
