Marlins placed OF Chris Coghlan on the minor league disabled list with an injured left knee. Coghlan was optioned to Triple-A New Orleans on Friday and has not been able to play in a game yet because of a knee injury that he has struggled with for most of the year. That may explain his ugly .230/.296/.368 batting line.
