Anderson (3-2) earned the win Tuesday against the Reds, allowing four runs on six hits and four walks across 5.1 innings. He struck out four.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson wasn't particularly sharp, yielding three runs in the first inning and finishing with a season high four walks. He settled down after that juncture but was chased from the game in the fifth, when a baserunner on his ledger scored against the bullpen. All in all it wasn't Anderson's best showing, but he still won for the third time in four starts and still has a solid 3.38 ERA. He'll look to put in a better shift in this weekend's matchup with the Pirates.

Manager Craig Counsell moved Jhoulys Chacin's start to Wednesday against Kansas City, pushing back Anderson to Thursday versus the Cubs, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson will get a second crack at Chicago in as many series after taking the loss -- allowing two earned runs off four hits and two walks while striking out two -- during his third start of the year against the Cubs on April 8. This shouldn't have any impact on Anderson earning two starts next week, as he will likely take the hill in Cincinnati on Tuesday following by a matchup against Pittsburgh on Sunday.

Anderson (2-1) got the win in Milwaukee's 12-3 blowout of the Marlins on Thursday, giving up three earned runs on five hits over 5.1 innings, striking out three and walking two.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson was aided by a strong showing from his offense against Miami but he was still effective in earning his second win in five starts to begin the season. Anderson hasn't been posting elite strikeout totals so far this year but he's posted very solid ratios with a 3.25 ERA and 1.05 WHIP in 27.2 innings and opponents are hitting just .206 off him over that timeframe. So far, he looks poised to build on last season's breakout campaign that saw him post a 2.74 ERA in 141.1 innings.

Anderson (1-1) picked up the win over the Mets on Saturday, allowing one run on two hits and two walks over 6.1 innings while striking out five.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander threw 58 of 87 pitches for strikes as he recorded his second quality start in four outings to begin the season. Anderson's 2.82 ERA and 18:7 K:BB through 22.1 innings are solid, and he appears set up for another impressive performance Thursday at home against the Marlins.

Anderson gave up two runs on four hits and two walks while striking out two across 6.0 innings during Sunday's loss to the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson didn't receive any run support, but he did manage to pitch a solid game against a tough Chicago lineup. He was able to bounce back after his last start against the Cardinals where he allowed four runs in just 4.0 innings. The 30-year-old right-hander will look to pick up his first win of the season during his next start, which figures to come either Friday or Saturday against the Mets.

Anderson gave up four earned runs on eight hits over just four innings, striking out five and walking none in Milwaukee's 5-4 comeback victory over the Cardinals on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
It was a dud follow-up to his strong debut start to the campaign that saw him shut out the Padres, but Anderson's 3.60 ERA and 1.20 WHIP still look fairly solid through his first two starts of the season despite the shaky effort. He's coming off a breakout 2017 where he logged a 2.74 ERA in 141.1 innings and will look to get back to that form in a tough matchup against the Cubs in his next start on Sunday.

Anderson completed six innings Thursday against the Padres, allowing no earned runs on one hit and three walks while striking out six.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson took his first step toward legitimizing his breakout 2017 campaign with his Opening Day start. Despite the strong surface numbers, Anderson's control was a bit concerning as he walked three batters and started just 10 of the 23 batters he faced with a strike. There's no reason for serious concern after a single start, but Anderson will need to improve his control as he faces more difficult opponents in future starts.

Anderson was named the Brewers' Opening Day starter Monday, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Jimmy Nelson (shoulder) expected to be sidelined through Opening Day, Milwaukee will turn the ball over to Anderson for the season opener in San Diego. The 30-year-old is coming off a career-best year during which he posted a sharp 2.74 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 133:41 K:BB across 25 starts (141.1 innings).

Anderson allowed one earned runs in five innings over his last two spring appearances.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson allowed two runners to cross home plate in his one-inning spring debut, but he was far sharper over his last two appearances, and was so efficient in his last outing that he needed to throw additional pitches in the bullpen after leaving the game, according to Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Anderson, the owner of a 2.83 ERA since the All-Star break back in 2016, is the favorite to get the Opening Day start for the Brewers.

Anderson signed a two-year contract extension with Milwaukee that guarantees $11.75 million through 2019, while adding on a pair of club options for 2020 and 2021 Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
In total, this deal could wind up netting Anderson over $31 million once incentives kick in, and will keep the right-hander in Milwaukee for the foreseeable future following his phenomenal 2017 season. Over this past year, he accumulated a 2.74 ERA and 1.09 WHIP while posting a 12-4 record during 25 starts. It appears as though Anderson will receive a salary of just over $4 million for 2018, and $6 million in 2019, with club options for $8.5 and $9.5 million, respectively, for the following two seasons.
